This accommodation is not a hotel it is a 3 bedroom self catering villa with it's own pool, run by a villa rental company. No reception area not part of a complex. The accommodation was basic but pleasant. Nothing to complain about but a few niggles such as very few clothes hangers in wardrobes, not much in the way of furniture in the bedrooms - no bedside cabinet or chest drawers in 3rd bedroom. Downstairs bedroom had more furniture but drawers stuck badly. In the kitchen area there were just enough things in the way of plates/cups etc for everyone but if you like to self cater and cook large meals you might struggle. It lacked basics such as mixing bowls/colanders/scissors. However if you use it as a base and eat out no problem. The DVD player did not work and the tv has basic Spanish channels only so nothing for tired kids to chill out and watch. Was not possible to use the washing machine due to how it was fitted in the utility room. Outside the pool area was spacious with tables chairs and plenty of sunloungers for everyone. The villa is tiled throughout so easy to sweep out and keep clean. Towels were plentiful and regularly replenished, bedding was clean and changed mid stay and the pool was regularly maintained. Views from the villa of the mountains and sea are nice. Down side, we had quite a few cockroaches. We expected some, in a hot country, and found one or two each evening for the first couple of days downstairs but as one of the bedrooms is downstairs and this number started to increase, despite regularly sweeping the floor and leaving no food lying around, we ended up by the end of the first week purchasing some cockroach spray. This seemed to deal with the problem and after a couple of days of putting the spray down we stopped seeing them. The Villa is semi detached and you can clearly hear the neighbours so despite comments stating villa is soundproofed, we felt it probably wasn't. In addition a local hotel held a disco/entertainment most evenings until midnight and the noise from this could be clearly heard at our villa. So if quiet evenings on the balcony or early nights are for you beware of this. Because of the heat it's quite a hike, particularly if you have kids, to the beach especially the return when everyone is tired. Also we did not find a corner store or supermarket particularly close to the villa so used our car for shopping every couple of days. It would have been a struggle getting bottled water back without this due to the distance from the shops.
