It's a very scenic location, right on the edge of a beautiful lake, very close to the Velebit mountains, in a nice peaceful village. I would definitely recommend a car to get about though, as it is very rural. There's plenty of parking available. We used it as a base to explore Plitvice Lakes to the North, and Zadar/Pag to the south. The apartment was very spacious with a kitchenette that included all the cooking utensils you could possibly need, though we ate out every night. We couldn't really fault the room, it had everything we needed and more, including a sandwich toaster! The fridge was a bit noisy, but you can't do much about that really. The host was absolutely lovely, really nice lady. We'd happily stay there again.
