On arrival we was told that the room I booked would not be available until 2 days later. Hence, we were given an alternative room, which was in my opinion awful. I've seen better hostels. I was furious as I had paid for a standard room. As way of compensation, we was offered 2 days free breakfast, at a local restaurant, but only ate there once. They did a cooked breakfast. I don't eat pork & eggs so had toast & coffee but was still hungry. The hotel then suggested we could stay at another hotel, at their expense. A generous offer, which we refused as we were too tired to repack & go across the road to the hotel, then to return in the morning. After one night we was given a suitable room, & my mood improved. The standard rooms are neatly furnished, clean and comfortable. Kitchenette had a large fridge freezer, clean microwave & enough utensils & pots. We could only prepare basic meals, as we only had two cooking rings, no oven. It would've been ideal to have an oven to cook proper meals to save money. The AC is only in the bedroom, unfortunately, but opening the balcony doors to the living area brought in a nice breeze. The WIFI worked intermittently, had to ask staff to reset it, to no avail. I gave up & purchased data for my digicel sim. Television channels were great, lots to choose from, due to the additional TV set top box. Bathroom decent, and endless supply of hot water, which was fantastic. The only negative comment I have is the traffic noise is horrendous. Unbelievably noisy, particularly when the ZR vans sound their horns. It drove me crazy, when trying to get a lie in. The location is fantastic, near every amenities you could want. Worthing beach on your door step. Perfect for public transport and a short walk to the Gap. I would definitely stay here again, as long as I get a room with an oven. Lol. In regards to the staff, Shawna, Gloria, Granville, Ian & housekeeping, they were all fantastic, helpful & friendly. Nothing was too much trouble, I thank you all for your hospitality.
