We stayed at the Mavi at end of season last year. it was a bit run down but because the staff were so friendly and the position perfect we decided to go back this year. What a transformation. New management has made the place very guest friendly with a much greater choice of food. Also there is an army of cleaners and groundsmen keeping the flowering gardens and rooms spotless. The place has become more of a venue for Turkish families than for British which means the English of the staff is fairly limited. But so what? The views from the bedrooms (be wary of the 500s) are stunning. The beach is delightful and the pool beautifully kept. And there are no whingeing Brits. If you want a relaxing break within a short walk of a working fishing port with charming and reasonably priced restaurants this is the place. We will return.
