We stayed here for 2 nights; was impressed on the 2nd May so booked again independently for the 8th May. Hotel is situated in a complex just off the main road, so is adjacent to Aqua Park, Billiards Hall, Sports Hall, Paintball Hall, Ten Pin Bowling Alley and Disco. First booking was really good we had a room upstairs but facing the front, not too noisy. Enough space, comfy bed & pillows, great bath & shower, toiletries etc. Restaurant was good but had the sea food cold buffet and was a little disappointed; there are no other restaurants in walking distance, but we had drinks at the Ten Pin Bowling Alley and it was lovely to see so many families playing. Repeat booking started off not so good as we were given room 4, which is on the ground floor adjacent to the entrance on the left. We had driven a long way so were very tired, the room was a little stuffy so we opened the door to outside as there is no window. Just snoozing on the bed & a strange man tried to come in the door, he was very apologetic but we packed our things up and asked for another room. The people that run this hotel were absolutely charming there was no fuss etc, and we were moved upstairs again to room 42. Again same comfort but unfortunately where we had the window open the noise from the disco went on till 07.00 so my husband got little sleep; whereas I went out like a light. Prior to that we went Ten Pin Bowling which was great fun for two 60+ year olds and had a delightful meal back at the hotel off the main menu, washed down with a lovely rose wine. So a great stop off hotel, very comfortable and friendly, good value for money but liable to outside noise.
