Sailing on a cruise ship is half the fun of any cruise holiday. With so many activities, facilities and dining options at your disposal, you’ll find that time flies when you’re sailing from port to port.
But how can you make the most of your time when you’re on board your cruise ship? We’ve made a handy list to help you out!
Try something new
Cruise ships offer all sorts of onboard activities, and we suggest trying to sample as many of them as possible, whether that’s rock climbing, eating in a Michelin starred restaurant or indoor skydiving!
Bring a waterproof camera
When it comes to a cruise, a lot of onboard and offshore activities revolve around water. If you’re planning to spend a lot of time around the pool or trying out some watersports activities, make sure your camera can handle it.
Most cruise ships have mall-like shopping areas, where you can purchase all manner of goods, including clothing, designer handbags and luxury cosmetics. As shopping is duty free, you may be able to snap up a bargain.
Wake up early
Honestly, there’s nothing quite like admiring the sunrise from the middle of the ocean. Try and wake up early enough so you can enjoy it from your balcony, with a nice cup of tea in hand.
Your cruise ship’s spa is a chance to escape the hustle and bustle, and focus completely on you. Indulge with a massage or rejuvenating body treatment, and recharge yourself in time for docking at your next destination.
