Bastille Day, Paris
Bastille Day (July 14th) is France’s most famous national holiday, and when it comes to celebrations, fireworks play a central part. One of the best Bastille Day fireworks display takes place at the Eiffel Tower. After all, what could be more memorable than watching the night sky light up against Paris’ most iconic landmark?
For something a little more magical, you can also enjoy an amazing Bastille Day fireworks show at Disney Paris.
New Year’s Eve, Dubai
Dubai is famous for doing everything bigger and better than anywhere else in the world, and New Year’s Eve is no exception.
When it comes to fireworks displays, you can take your pick. Perhaps the most anticipated display is the Burj Khalifa’s; as the world’s tallest structure, you can expect to see some of the most amazing fireworks, accompanied by an audiovisual display.
Other displays take place at the Burj Al Arab, Atlantis The Palm and The Beach at Jumeirah Beach Residence.
Australia Day, Sydney
It doesn’t get much more exciting Down Under than on Australia Day (January 26th)!
During the day, there’s plenty of activities, including swimming in the harbour and cruising concerts. However, the real fun begins once the sun sets. The big fireworks display at Darling Harbour usually begins at 7pm, and draws a thriving and excitable crowd. The fireworks look especially striking as they’re reflected in the harbour’s still waters.
Independence Day, Washington DC
Independence Day, also known as the Fourth of July, is one of America’s most celebrated national holidays – and we can’t think of anywhere better to mark the occasion than Washington DC.
You can enjoy a truly dazzling fireworks display over the Washington Monument, with the National Mall and US Capitol providing an astonishing and patriotic backdrop. Just make sure you arrive early to secure your place on the lawn to enjoy the show!
Las Fallas, Valencia
Valencia comes alive in March for the Las Fallas festival, a week of pyrotechnics and festivities running up to the 19th March. Celebrating with colourful parades, gunpowder explosions and bonfires, Las Fallas is considered one of the fieriest festivals in the world.
At night, you can enjoy explosive fireworks that light up the night sky, also known as Nit del Foc.
