About Rhodes

The largest of the Dodecanese Islands, Rhodes is a popular tourist destination for partying, relaxing on the beach and soaking up a bit of Greek culture. The capital city of Rhodes is covered with well-preserved medieval buildings which are surrounded by sophisticated restaurants, bars and shops. To enjoy the island’s party scene, head over to Faliraki, a popular destination for young tourists. To get away from the hustle and bustle and for an authentic Greek experience head inland to the smaller hamlets nestled in the olive groves.

If you fancy a bit of sightseeing, visit Kameiros where the remains of an ancient hamlet have been excavated. Lindos is home to the Doric temple of Athena and you can see the incredible stone pillars that once held up the roof of the temple. For a family-friendly resort, Pefkos with its beautiful beaches and reasonably priced restaurants is a great choice.

When To Go
