About Rome, Italy

Rome is a bucket list destination. With so much history and architecture it really does have to be seen for itself. Two and half thousand years of history, 2.9 million residents in fewer than 500 square miles, more cultural wonders than most countries could hope to possess, The Colosseum, The Sistine Chapel, The Forum, St Peter’s Basilica …Rome has a lot going for it.

The capital of Italy is a place where you can feel history, but it’s also a place where you can experience the vibrancy and energy of modern Italian life. Away from the wonders of the Pantheon you can dine al-fresco in a city-centre piazza and try some fine Italian wine before heading to one of the city’s many designer bars. One day can be spent delving into the past, the next taken up with café-lounging and pasta-eating. Do as the Roman’s do, follow the lead of the city and live life to the full.

Book With Us

We have more than 2,000 hotels and apartments to choose from in Rome, including everything from 19th Century, 5-star townhouses, to romantic bed and breakfasts tucked away in the heart of the city. We’ll find you the best deals on flights and can arrange transfers and car hire. We even offer discounted tickets to the Colosseum and a walking tour of Rome at night, so you’ll be completely set up to make the most of your trip.

When To Go

Rome gets extremely crowded in the middle of summer, so if that’s when you’re planning to visit then it’s probably worth picking a quiet, relaxed hotel to retire to at the end of each day. Late spring and early autumn offer much more room to breathe, as well as weather that’s a lot easier to walk around in. Winter can be magical but check that attractions are open as some take a break during this period.
