About Sousse

The beautiful old city of Sousse is an exceptional holiday location, offering white sand beaches alongside fascinating historical attractions. ‘The Pearl of the Sahel’ provides a unique Tunisian experience where you can relax in front of a tranquil turquoise sea and also take a step back in time to explore the history of this richly diverse country. Explore the vibrant city by walking along the port amongst the fishing boats or get your senses tingling with a walk through the world famous markets and souk. The ancient Medina forms the centre piece of the city and holds more than 3,000 years of history in it. A chilled out vibe makes this an ideal place to enjoy a break from the hustle and bustle of work.

Set in the stunning Gulf of Hammamet, the sea is shallow and safe for children, making this a popular choice for families. Sousse is ideally located to explore other areas of Tunisia with the ancient ruins of Carthage easily accessible for a day trip. Overnight safaris to the Sahara can also be organised as well as the chance to explore the heritage listed town of Kairouan. Affordable and laid back, Sousse is an ideal choice that caters for all desires.
