When To Go

The Dalaman region lies parallel to the Greek Island of Rhodes and as such enjoys the same great summer weather. Long sunny days are the norm from April to as late as October. However, the warmest of the weather is to be found from June to August, with temperatures regularly exceeding 35 degrees and rainfall almost non-resistant.

Sightseeing and must-sees

  • Be baffled by a useless train station
    In 1905 an enormously costly shipping error saw a useless station built in Dalaman. Its intended destination was Egypt.

    Carved deep into a cliff face this tomb, the inhabitants of which remain unknown, is over 2000 years old.

    With class two to four rapids the river is great for first-timers.
