We had a one bedroom apt sleeping up to 4 people. Sadly, it was winter and we had experienced really cold temperatures and snow at sea level the day before we arrived at our accommodation and we found the heating (by split A/C unit) was just not good enough. Luckily, we had taken our own electric heater with us but it still could not keep the living room warm.
The bedroom was warm enough overnight but come 08:00hrs, the hotel switched the heating off. The hot water in the shower was only just warm enough to shower.
The public areas: restaurant and lounge were cold even when full in the evening.
Those are the negatives points.

We stayed one night only on AI basis and found the food provided from the AI menu was adequate but not a great deal of choice. However, it was served hot and the restaurant staff were polite and friendly. Booking AI in advance appears to have been the cheaper option as we saw the hotel were charging €39pp per night if booked on arrival.

Our room was good, had enough elements for self-catering in a ground floor room in the small block on the opposite side to the main hotel block, although the kettle was missing when we checked in. The Russian maid sought one out for us and informed us she had learned a new English word that day :-)

We would like to try it again in the summer when the weather is better and may stay AI again as there is nothing around the hotel if you want to walk out for food/drinks of an evening. You need to use the bus from Coral Bay or hire a car. Most people we noticed had opted for AI or upgraded to the various meal options on offer at the hotel.
Top Tip: There are some fabulous, deep rock pools just a few minutes walk out of the back of the hotel if you follow the coastal path after turning initally left then following the path to the right out towards the sea and past the small memorial. If the sea stays high enough in the summer, this would make for fantastic bathing but not if the sea is rough.
Take the path to the left and you are 10 minutes at the most from a sandy beach.
Further along the coast there's a lovely sandy beach and small harbour in front of some of the larger hotels at Coral Bay.

Our stay at the hotel was great. The hospitality, staff were friendly ,helpful which made us all feel welcome. In my family we have two young people in their twenties but found our own entertainment and sights to visit and keep busy. We all enjoyed our stay immensely and would definitely recommend the resort to friends.
Top Tip: We found a couple of restaurants near the harbour quite good.
