5 Star Hotel

Info

The Elysium is a five star deluxe hotel with a world-class Spa, which offers an entirely unique experience to leisure and business visitors to Cyprus.

Situated next to the ancient Tombs of the Kings, the Elysium is 'A SANCTUARY FOR THE BODY AND SOUL'. The hotel offers a harmonious blend of luxury, tranquillity and seclusion; colonnades, mosaics, waterfalls and pools form an elegance echoed by a discreet and gracious welcome. I don't normally write reviews but wanted to enter one for this hotel. The hotel is amazing and everything all the reviews say. The breakfast buffet truly covers everything that you could want for breakfast and the variety and level of the food at dinner was very good. From the moment you step into the hotel where there is a welcome drink waiting for you to the comfortable beds and the wonderful customer service this is truly five star. The position of the hotel right on the beach is great an the 30 minute walk along the prom to Paphos is a nice way of getting to the harbour instead of going through the MacDonalds and KFC!
Top Tip: Hire a car, go out and find the real Cyprus. Troodos mountains are beautiful and well worth a visit.

Staff very friendly and helpful. Deluxe room very comfortable.
A few occasions we couldn't find a parking space on hotel front or underground car park.
Buffet food was not as hot it could have been - candles underneath wasn't enough to keep the food hot. Very tasty - but would have been so much better HOT.

Fantastic hotel! Staff are amazingly helpful and enthusiastic!
Food at the buffet breakfast and dinner is delicious and high quality!
My only criticism is the cost of bottled water with dinner 5 euros per bottle,
We were told no tap water as not drinkable.

This hotel is great and it's the only one we have come back to so this was our second stay at the Elysuim. We were treated with the same warmth and friendliness by the staff and enjoyed the facilities and location again this time; it was all to a high five star standard.
The staff seem very happy to be a part of this hotel and nothing is too small to help your stay be more comfortable.
In particular now that our two children are both over 3 years old, we happily left them to enjoy the Angels kids club which is run so well by Rachel. We had little worry to leave them with her and go off and enjoy some us time! The kids woke up each morning asking to go there!
The food is of a very good standard both the breakfast and buffet dinner serving themed food each night. Because of the kids we only dined in the buffet restaurant but we've only heard good things about the other restaurants.
They go the extra mile especially with the kids, offering to cook separate food if the buffet isn't for them, as our children can be fussy!
Overall the room, hotel, amenities, and staff were all great and we are considering whether to book for next year already!
Top Tip: The walk along the sea front takes half hour and is great with a variety of restaurants and shops in the harbour.
Kings mall is a 20minute walk away and has a softplay I believe
