Very nice hotel, refurbishment to this hotel is excellent. Our room was on the first floor facing the car park ( no problems there as smoked on it) my only concern was that you could hear tv, toilet and talking from the room next door !
This hotel is very large ( maybe to large for me ) I don't think I would like to be there in the summer when it's full as for me there is not enough lifts and I could only imagine all the people around the food , it's very compact, staff were vey very efficient plates cleared away in seconds of you finishing
My only dislike was the desserts everything was Cake most had this synthetic Cream in , there was was a hot sweet in container but it never had a warmer under it so it was always Luke warm or cold ,I did ask for custard or pouring cream, only to be told they don't do it only synthetic cream ( which they call fresh )
Would I use it again ? Maybe not, but that is personal choice, as hotel is a good 4star

“ Best all-round hotel in Paphos. The staff, especially Andreas the Maitre d', are a credit to the hotel. However the refurbishment to carpet-less bedrooms is dismal and cold during the winter months. Food excellent with plenty of choice, but a disappointment that Boxing Day lunch was served in the breakfast room. Would definitely return to the St George, as I have done many years in the past.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone. The hotel was clean, the food was absolutely fabulous and all the staff could not do enough to help. There was a beautiful outdoor pool and small beach with plenty of sunbeds on both. There was a lovely heated inside pool for those cold days as well as a jacuzzi, steam room, and gym. The little touches made the hotel special like the tea being served in a proper tea pot with a milk jug and television in the rooms that had BBC1, ITV and a couple that played English films all day. We went over for Christmas and the Christmas Eve buffet was a lovely experience, never have I seen people eat so much food! If you stay here take the all inclusive option if you can as a pot of tea is 2.50 euros and a glass of wine is 4.60....not unreasonable but the money soon adds up! Also all inclusive includes as much bottled water as you require.
The only think that stops this hotel being a ten is the entertainment, think Butlins and you are there! Plus as we went out of peak season the bars and restaurants that were around the hotel were all closed so not much choice there either. However it wouldn't stop me going back as the hotel is on a really good bus route so great for exploring!.
