We were in the new building of the Veronica this year, good big room, clean bathroom, no towels or toilet paper on arrival, had to ask and ask as when there are three in one room, you need these items! The food this year was not as good as in the past, breakfast the same all week, no change what so ever!
Top Tip: Irish bar across the road Stvros and his brother Lakis own it, made to feel very welcome. A good walk to the harbour everyday keeps you fit!

A very pleasant relaxed stay. Having stayed here before I was not disappointed by my return stay. The staff were friendly and helpful and the facilities are very good for the price paid. Stayed on the top floor of the new wing which have good views of the gardens and pool area and the sea, the room was clean, tidy and comfortable and would not think twice about staying here again.
Top Tip: The tavern across the road from the hotel has excellent food and is good value. The Felix bar down towards the beach is a friendly bar with good atmosphere which I would recommend.

I stayed there 5 nights, it's a good hotel, nice, comfortable lobby, as the old building was closed for renovation the guests were staying at the new building next to the old one so that means we had to come out of the building and walk to the dining room under the heavy rain(that was a seasonal inconvenience :-). The room was clean
The food was ok almost same food everyday but edible :-) the bar is good and the girl at the bar is great, friendly, good service.
Top Tip: Probably because it was the dead season most places were closed, I only tried few places to eat and nothing to write home about, the best thing to do is to rent a car and drive around , lovely scenery and great small villages

This is the second time that we have stayed at this hotel. There have been no changes except that it has been extended. We stayed in the new part. the rooms were better than those in the old part of the building.
There is a definite lack of care and maintenance. In our room the sink plug was poor fitting and did not hold water and the extractor in the bathroom did not work.
The chambermaids / cleaners are all of Eastern European origin and speak no English., so it is difficult to communicate.
Many of the visitors are foreign from Russia ,Poland and Czech Republic. There were British people there with stays ranging from 7 days to 5 months.
The food was quite acceptable but also repetitious. The breakfasts were good but the same every day.
Top Tip: There is not very much in this area at this time of year.

The new extension is a bit difficult for older people as there are several small flights of stairs which must be negotiated before access to a lift to reception and lounge area. Wifi (free) available in public areas but not in rooms. TV in rooms not available in English need Sky. Breakfast is good with a wide selection hot or cold. Evening meal rather limited selection of cooked foods and not always to English taste. Should be wider variety for main meal.Would suggest an electric kettle in rooms with sachets of tea coffee milk and sugar for an early morning cuppa on rising. Most hotels have this. Rooms cleaned daily. Staff very helpful.
Top Tip: Found a great cafe/restaurant about 200 yards towards beach on opposite side of road. Believe it was called Cafe Royale. Family run with extensive menu and reasonable prices.
Bus stop just outside hotel. English newspapers directly opposite hotel. Cash machine right next door.
Taxi office a couple of doors to the right as you exit.
