An excellent hotel. Lots of pools and sunbathing areas. Has its own water park with slides and a brilliant heated kids pool with its own slides. Staff are friendly and very helpful. Food is excellent with plenty of choice. If i had to improve any thing it would be the evening entertainment but everyones opinion is different. Will definitely go again.

Reviews! Which ones do you listen to? I find that reviews are very much dependent on the person writing and the person reading, if both have a similar outlook and expectation then it’s the right review for you.
Therefore let me kick off with a little about myself and that way you can decide if this is the right review for you.
I have worked as a Bank Manager lending money to hotels in the UK, hence; I’m quite critical and pay attention to small details in any hotel. I’ve stayed at 5star hotels in Dubai and roughed it on top of mountains in India, with no shower for days on end. Ultimately, there are two things I expect from any hotel/holiday value for money and my expectations managed.
I wanted to treat my sister and nieces to a cheap and cheerful holiday, here is how I assessed the place:

Hotel Overview – 5 Fantastic to 1 very poor
Staff Friendliness – 4
Staff Helpfulness – 2
Cleanliness - 4
Quality of Rooms – 2
Food - 3
Aqua Park – 3
Cost/Hidden Charges – 3
Overall – 2.5/3

Staff Friendliness & Helpful
The staff are friendly and they want to be helpful, however the hotel is slightly bureaucratic. For example I had an early start and requested a breakfast pack, however, due to the fact that breakfast started at 7am and I wanted my breakfast pack at 7am they couldn’t accommodate.

The staff seem to be more interested in working within the parameters the hotel sets instead of putting the customer first.

I would like to give special compliments to Jessica (Guest Relations) and Amy (Freak Animation). Jessica was very helpful in overcoming the bureaucratic nature of the hotel; she printed something out for me that help me go diving (at no extra cost) and got me my breakfast pack. Thank you.

Amy absolute star!! My nieces loved you and we all enjoyed having you around, friendly, hard working, committed and fun. Freak Animation is very lucky to have you. If you ever need a job at a UK hotel, please ask I would be happy to recommend you.

New Years Eve party was amazing, great food, well organised good quality, better then most parties I’ve been to in London (for that price), the NYE party was included in our package.

Cleanliness/Quality of Rooms
The hotel is very clean, except for the ground level bar/lounge smelt like sick at times (milk gone off). However the quality of the rooms weren’t great, little things, no rubber seal around the shower glass door, no TV remote control, the patio door and bathroom door did not lock properly and I had to call the maintenance man, who fixed the problem, but it felt a bit slap dash. The patio door still did not feel particularly secure. Sliding wardrobe door fell off its hinges and almost flattened my niece. No water pressure in the sink tap.

Lots of quality and edible, school dinners at its best. Pizza, burgers, chips, omelettes, pasta, beef curry etc would have been nice if they did some better quality fruit and veg.

You’ll find something to eat, it won’t be top quality but it will suffice and keep your taste buds engaged.

Aqua Park
Awesome! However, the big blue slide wasn’t open everyday and the water was cold, except for the baby pools. This is in most hotels in Egypt, but my thoughts are if you’ve got an aqua park then warm water is must. The sea was warmer then the swimming pool.

Cost/Hidden Charges
Wifi in the hotel costs £2.5 for 30mins; this is more expensive than London, however, Wifi at the beach is free.
Popcorn in the evening costs $1.
You get charged for local calls; I wouldn’t expect this at a 4 star hotel especially when you’re calling a tour provider that you booked at the hotel
The cash machine seems quite expensive to use and you can’t pay by card.
The cost to use the sauna and steam room was an extra £10 per person per day, this should not cost extra at a 4 star hotel.

This hotel is ideal for those that have children aged between 5 & 12 and parents are happy to sit in the sun and drink beer all day. Awesome!
Do not expect staff to go that little bit further unless you tip them.

Feedback for the hotel.
Put a rubber seal round your glass shower doors, less chance of people slipping and fewer towels will be used.
Wifi through out the whole hotel or a cheaper price. For £30 I could have had wifi for a week and up to four devices.
Freak animation – let your staff sit down and talk to clients, Customer’s feel uncomfortable when your staff members have to stand while talking to clients.
Get a heated pool.

In essence this is a good hotel and with a few changes it could be amazing, however, I would not recommend it to my friends as they have quite high standards and would be unhappy with the quality, unfortunate, as it is just under par.
Top Tip: Le Strada - come out of the hotel and walk straight ahead you'll be able to jump on a bus for next to nothing (10 Egyptian pounds for 4 people) jump out at Le Strada. You have star bucks, McDonalds, shopping and fairly priced supermarket.

The staff were very friendly and happy to help. We went as a family of 7 with children ranging from 1 to 12.
The only downside is there is no lift so tricky with a buggy but again the staff were only too happy to carry the buggy for us
New years eve party was excellent and the choice of food was amazing. The Aqua park was great fun and kept the kids busy and incredibly happy. The baby pool was fabulous and such a pleasure. The chef wallad was exceptionally accommodating with dietary requirements nothing was too much trouble. Yana the Spanish kids club rep was so sweet and really made the kids feel special. I would go back in a heart beat. This is my 8th trip to sharm and the best hotel I have stayed at. Mohammed and margery in guest relations should be commended for their service and conduct. A credit to the hotel
Top Tip: The cabana hut on the beach was worth every penny hiring out for the day at 15€ per person the service was excellent and there is free wifi there and a luxury sofa for which I fell asleep on
