“ Top Tip: The Coptic Church is worth a visit, but do it via a taxi not on a trip as you will have to endure a visit to a scent factory. Soho square is also fairly near and well worth a visit.

Fantastic hotel with a great atmosphere. The staff are extremely welcoming and this attitude is passed on to the guests meaning a pleasant holiday experience for all.
A "quiet" pool is on offer for the older generation or maybe younger people not interested in the entertainment provided by the highly skilled entertainment team. Various pursuits from stretching to water polo are on offer throughout the day and a "mini disco" on a night for the little ones, then a small show later on for everybody else.
The hotel also has it's own allocated stretch of beach, however I did not use this.
What I did do was take a couple of trips on the "Sunset Cruise" which made for a lovely time for the whole family.
Food was nice and typical of all inclusive. Some people seem to think all inclusive means they are going to get T bone steaks on a night. Please get this thought out of your head. "Fussy" eaters will also struggle on some nights, however I am not one of those people.
The hotel is nicely maintained and the rooms are clean and presentable.
I cannot say enough good things about this hotel, I am almost certain to go back.
Go on the "Sunset Cruise"
Take part in the activities.

“ The staff in the hotel were excellent. Very efficient and friendly. I wouldn't take children there as outside of the hotel there didn't seem much to do. The hotel was very good for disabled guests.
“ Top Tip: A boat trip to snorkel or swim in the Red Sea is a must and seeing dolphins was great.

This was our first experience of Sharm el Sheikh and I hope it will not be the last. We have just returned from a fantastic holiday which was made extra special by the fact that we stayed at this particular hotel. From the moment we arrived the staff at the hotel made us feel welcome and "at home". I want to try and thank each of them by name but if I miss anyone out I apologise in advance as you were all absolutely amazing. The concierge (Bell Captain) was always cheerful and obliging. The Beach bus driver, always punctual and with a ready smile made trips to the beach fuss free. The restaurant staff - Mina, Mamood, Magdy, Aba-ala, Mohamed, Ashraf and all their colleagues - exceptional service at all times.....all the chefs, waiting staff and management were faultless. Particular thanks also to Gasser for the superb breakfast omelettes that started my day!
The food at the hotel was varied and of very good quality in my opinion. It is always difficult to please everyone at an all inclusive venue but I would be very surprised if anyone could find fault with what was on offer - we were more than impressed!
The bar staff - Malak, Abbas, Carlos, Nessim and all their other colleagues were so efficient and cheery - always ready with a joke and a smile - fantastic service from them all - much appreciated.
The reception staff were always helpful and knowledgeable - particularly Kilog (thank you for the photocopying and charging my Ipod before I flew home x)
The staff that accompanied us on the sunset boat trip - Ashraf, Carlos etc and the Captain and guide, Mohammed - all made an excellent trip for us - the snorkelling was fantastic and the added bonus of the beautiful sunset and the dolphins passing by was magical.....a trip that will live in our memories for a long time - thank you guys xx
We travelled as a family of 4 - 2 adults and 2 daughters aged 15 and 12 - our room was spacious with a Queen size bed, a double and a sofa bed. Bathroom was good size with a walk in wet room style shower - absolutely ideal. Thanks to Mohammed for keeping our room clean and tidy and for the wonderful towel sculptures of a monkey and an elephant - absolutely brilliant x
The hotel has 2 pool areas - one designated a "quiet" pool which was superb. The other pool has activities going on organised by the animation team so you can choose to take part or just sit and chill. The sunbeds are fantastic - no cheap plastic rubbish - these are good quality wooden pieces of furniture with excellent cushions on top. An added bonus was that the hotel provided towels for the pool and the beach so no carting dirty towels home - brilliant! You are issued with a card each at the beginning of the holiday and you collect a clean towel each day - perfect!
There are a few little shops within the hotel complex selling essential anything from essential toiletries to a fez! All reasonably priced too......my daughter and I bought good imitation designer handbags for a fraction of the cost and the girls also bought "Converse" footwear too! There are a couple of jewellers in the lobby area with a wide range of items and prices to suit all pockets..
There was entertainment every night if you wanted it - the animation team work really hard to keep everyone happy morning, noon and night.
There is an a la carte restaurant (pay extra) on the roof top of the main restaurant - we went one night just for a change - the food was wonderful and presented beautifully. We paid approx £50 for a family of 4 inc a bottle of wine - I doubt we could manage that in the UK! The service was impeccable and we had a great evening.
All in all this is an absolutely fantastic hotel and one that I would be more than happy to recommend to anyone. We are very much hoping to return again in the future and it is not often we can say that - this is a gem of a hotel with a contingency of staff that deserve to be applauded for their outstanding efforts!
I think the main thing that stands out at this hotel is the exceptional staff.....nothing is too much trouble and they all make everyone feel so very welcome. I have stayed at many hotels in my life but I can honestly say the staff at the St George are the best I have ever encountered.
Sunset cruise is a must - snorkelling, beautiful sunset and dolphins if you are lucky! Hotel staff made this trip special - Carlos' singing has to be heard and I even got to dance with the Captain!
Star-gazing trip was memorable too - trip out into the desert - camel riding, bedouin show and meal under the stars, magnificent star gazing treat - even got to see the rings of Saturn and the 4 moons - magical and a treat that will lve in my memory......bedouin tea is a must try - I'm addicted and have even brought some home - delicious.
Water-sports at the beach reasonable too - the four of us went para-sailing for less than £60 - fantastic experience.
