Hotel Brighton

Paris, France

4 Star Hotel

Built by Lord Egerton at the beginning of the 19th century, the Hotel Brighton**** was one of the first hotels in Paris. It offers sublime views of the Jardin des Tuileries and Paris’ most famous monuments. The hotel is located next to the prestigious shops of Rue and Faubourg Saint Honoré and near major cultural points of interest such as the Louvre Museum, The Orsay Museum and the Jeu de Paume Museum. This is the ideal address for your Parisian stay.

The lounge and the breakfast room have been fully refurbished in 2012 and all the rooms are regularly redecorated, combining the “spirit of the place”, comfort and elegance.

The 61 rooms and suites are decorated with antique furniture, delivering the charm and the elegance of the classic Parisian style. They are fitted with a flat screen satellite television, free Wi-Fi access, mini-bar, telephone and air conditioning. Kettles with drinks are available upon request.

great location, very close to all main attactions therefore walking was the way to travel. Staff were very good remembering names etc.The only minor criticism I have is the hot section of the otherwise very good breakfast is not replenished as often as it should be.Whatever time we arrived for breakfast either eggs, bacon or sausage was missing.A minor point but I cant think of anything else to criticize.
Top Tip: Restaurant La Petit Saint Benoit on the same named street in St Germain

I stayed here with my 15 yr old for a short break during summer holidays answe loved it.
The hotel was lovely and staff very attentive from check in to check out, the rooms were fine not enormous but it is Paris and size is always at a premium. Clean and well appointed with very comfortable beds.
Its situation on Rue de Rivoli makes it an ideal spot for shopping at the exclusive boutiques in Rue , St Honore and Place Vendome.and the Louvre is just across the street. There is a metro station opposite if you want to venture further, but we walked pretty much everywhere as the location is pretty central.
Just a couple of doors away is Angelinas a must for lovers of patisserie and a number of beautiful restaurants on the same block.
Paris isn't cheap so dont expect to do things on a budget. But for a pecan treat it is wonderful.
I would absolutely recommend this hotel and will be staying here again next time in Paris.
Top Tip: Laduree for fabulous cakes and Macaroni on Rue Royale
Collete for gorgeous things from fashion to gadgets on RueSt Honore

An ideal location, extremely central which is great for those on the tourist trail. Rooms were compact in a typical Paris fashion, but service was very good. I'd definitely consider this again for my next trip to Paris.
Top Tip: Bang on the route for the Tour de France. Step outside the front door and the race is in front of you.

Have stayed at the Brighton Hotel three times..and each time it just gets better.
Wonderful, friendly helpful staff who couldn't do more to make your stay better.
The location is amazing..facing the jardin de Tuileries and the louvre.. you couldn't have a better location in Paris for sightseeing, shopping or just taking in the atmosphere.
The hotel itself is beautiful and grand with rooms that are by far the largest we have experienced during our six trips to Paris and very clean.
Breakfast is an amazing spread of cold and hot meats, pastries, fresh fruits and cereals with all types of hot and cold drinks that you could want.
This hotel is a real hidden gem..
Some people may find the prices slightly high but when you consider the location, quality and experience it's well justified and every sightseeing destination is on your doorstep.
Perfect location for travellers on only a short stay.
Top Tip: Would highly recommend the rivoli park tavern next door and the welcome cafe only a short distance down the rivoli as a perfect place to recharge and refuel yourself before or after a days sightseeing or shopping
Another great recommendation would be Carr's Irish bar situated around the corner behind the hotel - an amazing place with amazing people from every corner of the planet and you'll be guaranteed a great night .
