the staff was very helpful and friendly. room was comfortable, clean and shower was good. only thing it lacked was a kettle for making tea, coffee etc. breakfast ok, plentiful tea/coffee, orange squash not juice, two choices of cereal, natural yoghurt, tinned peaches, brown or white bread with jams, ham and cheese. (would have liked a choice of feta or other greek cheese) scrambled or boiled egg. staff very good in there too.
Top Tip: DONT EAT AT RESTAURANTS AROUND THE HOTEL. We had a meal the night we arrived and it looked and tasted like microwave food and it cost over £20. instead go to Omonia Square (one stop on the metro) and head down ATHINAS road. opposite the fish market on the right hand side is a kebab cafe/restaurant which serves lovely food for a reasonable price. the souvaki (a kebab) is really good for E2 and the mixed grill for 2 is E14 and you get a mountain of meat with pitta breads, chips and a little salad on side. alternatively, walk to monastriraki square at the bottom of the road and turn the corner where there is a little kebab shop with nice souvaki and across the road on the right is a good icecream shop (one scoop for E1.2). good stalls here selling lots of fruit (1kg grapes for 1E and huge peaches and nectarines).

Generally very good, hotel staff were helpful and friendly, cleanliness was good, breakfast was reasonable. Shower head wall bracket was partially broken which made showering a chore.

Perfect location for getting about in Athens - it is right round the corner from the Metro station and on the same line as the Acropolis and National Gardens.

The highlight of the hotel is the roof garden; absolutely stunning views on all sides and a totally unobstructed view of the Acropolis. Also really tasty food that is priced cheaply compared to other places around Athens.

The only reasons we didn't rate this 10 out of 10 were that there was a leak in the bathroom when we arrived (which was fixed the next day) and a couple of ants in the room. Breakfast is pretty basic as well.

Not sure about how safe the area is though so our taxi driver said not to go out alone or at night but having said that we didn't come across any trouble.

This is a basic hotel but really does the job. It is not in the best looking of areas but the location to the metro, restuarants, supermarket and attractions is perfect. The area is a bit noisy but to be honest this was ideal for me and my partner to easily get around the city.

There is a roof top restuarant that has a really good view of the Acropolis so go up and check it out as it is worth a photo or two. The food and drinks up there are reasonable as well.

Staff were very helpful and our room was very clean.
