This was our second visit and we felt the hotel had improved. Oddly we were allocated the very same room as our first visit overlooking the main pool and out to sea. The grounds are kept immaculately and the cleanliness throughout the hotel is faultless. The food is fine and all is buffet style. There are plenty of choices at each meal and if you cannot find something to enjoy you are far too fussy. The menu is pretty consistent and after a week maybe it can get a little predictable but it was no problem for us. The drinks in the AI package were plentiful and OK.
The hotel has an ala carte restaurant which we enjoyed one evening where the food was excellent as was the tabke service.
The entertainment was only so-so but was at least on a par to what can be expected at other similar resorts. We happened to be there on the very last week of the season and on the second last evening the hotel staged a Greek party for the guests and their entire workforce. It was lovely to see the staff in their finery enjoying the restaurant along with the remaining guests. The evening then had a focus on Greek music, traditional dancing, plate smashing, fire dancing, etc it was quite a spectacle.
When we were there there was quite a cross section of age groups. It was in our view somewhere that could suit most.
Our room could best be described as a family suite. It could have house a family of 5. It was simply furnished but comfortable with effective air-con and lovely views.
We got the impression that the hotel is going through continual upgrading as since our last visit a lovely second adults only pool has been built near the main hotel building.
During our previous visit the area was plagued by Mosquitos and wasps. We went equipped with protection but this year saw far fewer.
The hotel in our opinion is a good choice and for us has always been great value for money.
I finally add this, during the Greek evening the owner of the hotel spoke to his staff (hotel is family owned). What he said was also translated to English. It was obvious that the owner and his family really care about their staff and that the respect was mutual. We felt that the success of the hotel was very much a team effort and that the guests benfit from this.
Top Tip: Book a table at the ala carte as soon as you arrive as tables are limited.

This hotel is the exception to the saying "If it seems too good to be true, it probably is." It was almost too good to be true. I had wondered what we would find, bearing in mind the low cost, but everything we had hoped for was there. Imaginative menus, good range of inclusive local drinks. They were a little weak, but for the money one cannot grumble and there was a local bar if we wanted something with a little more kick. Two good size swimming pools, entertainment at night, indoor activities if the weather was wet, hotel and bedrooms clean, tidy and well maintained. The hotel is somewhat remote, but we wanted a chill out holiday and we got exactly that, everything that we needed was on site.
Top Tip: The Pyramid bar and restaurant, about 100 metres away. Excellent drinks, extensive range of cocktails, music, large screen TV - well worth a visit, or two.

Was a great escape, but not a 4 star retreat. Drinks limited, food was good but the same nearly every other day. Animation team were entertainment in themselves, great views but limit your stay to a week. The good thing was on the last day they stayed open for those leaving late, not many hotels would do that on their closing day.
Top Tip: Take a week.

The Rokas family who own the Mareblue Beach Resort must know their staff are amazing and extremely hardworking. From the Hotel Manager, restaurant Manager, hotel reception, entertainment staff, bar catering and cleaning staff there wasn't not anything I could personally fault.

We stayed in 1744 Pussy Galore Block was immaculate and was a lovely room. We were greeted by Jason the holiday Rep who made everyone feel extremely welcome :)

Breakfast dinner lunch and snacks were 100% spot on with plenty of choice you won't be disappointed honestly.

The entertainment was brilliant too!! I particularly loved the Greek Night which I took part in the dancing it was soooo fun to learn something new :)

Anyone who was to visit this particular hotel your in for an amazing time :)
Top Tip: The Pyramid Bar / Restaurant was down the path from the Mareblue Beach resort. Which has an amazing beach called St. spyridon beach. A very welcoming area which I also recommend too.
