The hotel was nice and the staff were very helpful. I would not necessarily say it is a 5 star hotel but it certainly met our needs. The room was spacious and well designed. My only criticism of the room was that the air conditioning was noisy (hard to avoid) and the fantastic view was somewhat spoiled by the fact that the windows were not very clean. The restaurant was good although I would have personally liked more mediterranean style dishes. The bent over backwards to deal with my son's gluten free and dairy free diet. The pool was great although the shallow end was regularly used for activities and this did temporarily prevent the kids from using it. The were plenty of deckchairs and although there was the usual dawn scrum for the best ones there was always something. The bar was good - the help yourself system for inclusive customers worked OK but my oldest son was not impressed with the very watery cola (we bought him some real coke from a local shop and put it in the fridge.).
Top Tip: We walked into Kalives and on the way there is a beautiful freshwater river. This is perfect for cooling down on a hot day. Kalives itself is worth a trip as it has lots of small shops and restaurants. Chania is also worth a trip - the bus is cheap albeit unreliable - we ended up going by taxi. There is a beautifil harbour and lots of really good museums and restaurants.

A very beautiful hotel, located right on the beach. Plenty of sunbeds, even if you lay in you don't have to rush down to get one.

Staff are truly magnificent they cannot do enough to help you. There is only one small let down and that is the food. The quality of the food is good, however we felt that there could be a greater variety of of food and definitely need to do themed nights, after the 4th night the food become very boring.

Rooms are kept clean and serviced on a daily basis.

Great hotel for people with kids, entertainment program is good and plenty for them to do. There is also entertainment program for teenagers/adults this includes volleyball, quizzes, Zumba, water polo, football ect.

We stayed here for 7 nights and left the hotel completely relaxed.
Top Tip: If you want to go out of the hotel would recommend renting a car as not much within walking distance from the hotel. Car booking can be made in reception.

No where close to a 5 star resort. It's in an extremely remote and run down area, the food was atrocious, the rooms were basic and shabby at best and the services were not 5 star nor inclusive, as most things required additional payment and / or were over monitored. My husband and I booked for a week as a belated honeymoon and were so bitterly disappointed and offended by the manager's arrogance and poor customer service that we left after 36 hours.
