Loved it. It was about 10 meters to the beach. People are friendly. It is clean and quite. Enjoyed a lot. Recomend for a relaxing holiday. We will go again 100 %.
Top Tip: I would recomend to rent a car, before you go. That way works out cheaper. Bring your gps with you and decide what places you want to see more. There is a lot to see and not enough time. As you walk from the hotel to the main road there is nice place to eat on the left hand side, Pantelis.

Apartment was spotlessly clean. Kitchen area adequately stocked to make simple meals on 1 ring cooker and microwave. Fridge had freezer compartment. There was plenty sunloungers available for those who want them. The beach is only a few metres wide and is combination of sand and pebbles so you'll need some water shoes to protect your feet. The sea is shallow for at least 50 metres so you can safely wade out to enjoy the water. Only paid for breakfast on the first morning as I hadn't been to supermarket for supplies. Breakfast was Ok but not really worth 4 euro everyday of holiday. Sfakaki itself is virtually a ghost town. This is great for quiet and peaceful holidays but if you want more entertainment you'll have to get the bus along to the next town (approx 10 mins, town before you get to Rethymnon) We ate at Pantelis almost every night in Sfakaki. Food is good, prices reasonable and staff are really friendly. If you stay here as a base for exploring the island there's plenty of free on street parking for your car. We felt incredibly safe here, would recommend this hotel to anyone not wanting to worry about a thing for the length of your stay.
Top Tip: Not recommended for you to eat at Adriana. Hygiene issues in the kitchen and the meals were worst experience in a long time.

Well where do we start, we booked a studio for 2 weeks but were given an apartment. Beautiful views especially the sunsets every evening. Kostas and Katerina were always happy to help in any way and also made amazing frappe's the place was spotless and would definitely recommend this place for anyone wanting a relaxing holiday. Andrianas restaraunt wasn't great but pantelis was good. If you want a decent supermarket that stocks more than the small one nearby just drive under bridge and go for about 1 mile, there's a bakery too it's just past the junction on right hand side where you join national road as if your heading for Heraklion. Don't bother trying to drive to rethymnon just get your bud tickets from the small supermarket by pantelis taverna but get 2 if you want to get return. If you want more choice of restaraunts drive or take bus to adelianos kampos about 4 km toward rethymno on old road marem and vergenas were good x

If you dont want a night life, as in clubbing, then this is the place.
There are three tavanas with in 5 mins walking distance serving excelent food.
For those who want more choice , its a short bus trip ( 1.60 eruos ) to a busy resort.
We had an excellent time and the host were one of the best ppl we have had the pleasure to meet, very friendly and most helpful.
Top Tip: two tavanas very close by, both excelent food and hospitality.

Went for 2 weeks and enjoyed every minute, the owners were fantastic and would do anything for you. Rooms were great, cleaned daily and with fresh sheets and towels provided. Pool was in great condition and kept very clean, beach was a matter of meters away from the pool.
Went for a quiet 2 weeks relaxation and that was exactly what i got, peace and quiet.
Top Tip: The nearest Tavern, Andriana's was also the best, very friendly, welcoming and the food was served within a relaxing environment, never every felt rushed to finish or to leave.
