I have ticked yes for all of the above. However if any of these groups like to watch wide screen tv with Skye channels this is not for them. The apartment was quiet, very clean, comfortable and spacious. Towels and sheets were changed twice in the week or more if necessary. There is no bar on the premises but lots of these nearby. The pool is very clean. A bit cold but then it is late October. You need to bring your own towel for the pool and beach as the apartment towels are only for use inside the apartment. We did not know this and bought a towel from the supermarket across the road for 4.40 euros. Kitchen equipment is basic but adequate apart from no egg cups which we bought also. There is a tv in the bedroom showing cnn and bbc world news which was ok for us. Anthi the owner was very informative and helpful. Our flight home did not leave until 23.50 but we had access to the reception area for our luggage and toilet facilities after checkout time of 12 noon. I recommend this accommodation.
Top Tip: If you go late in the season you have to look for good restaurants which are open but we found several. Thalassinos Kosmos was very good for fish and Peggy Gordon's Irish pub was very friendly. The owner Cavan sings Irish songs and this was the only live music we found! He is closing tomorrow though. Do hire a car if you go late in the season. The scenery is impressive. The roads are very good.

Fantastic location by the sea with nice, good value restaurants and a friendly supermarket very close by. Sissi is a quiet attractive village with great sea and harbour views. Our seafront room was not available for 1st 3 nights so I would suggest you email Anthi at the hotel after booking to confirm all as you want it if that's important to you - both the rooms we had were fine so not a problem for us.

Apartments comfortable, cleaned every 2 days, aircon worked fine. Pool was clean and right by the sea - superb views of a kingfisher on the rocks - but in busy times I think could be crowded with not enough sunbeds for 11 apartments.

Regarding some other critical reviews, remember that Porto Sissi is self catering apartments in Greece and not a 4 star UK hotel. In that context we would definitely recommend Porto Sissi.
Top Tip: Bufos beach is 10 minutes walk east. Stony entry to sea here and at the Robinson's resort just further on mean beach shoes come in handy - you can buy them in the local supermarkets.

Jolly Roger pub 5 mins walk east along the sea path has live music several times a week and friendly clientele and staff.

Great place to stay rooms were very clean and well air conditioned.
Pool was a perfect size and there were always sunbeds available.
Shop just across the road stocked everything you you would need.
One niggle we had a check out at 12 midday and were being collected at 5 30 pm and unless we wanted to pay 50 euro to keep the room the only place to shower was by the pool... We decided against this only to discover later that there was a very nice bathroom in main reception (no shower) were we could get a wash however we had not been told this information.....
We did really like our accomodation and would happily stay here again.

No need to go anywhere to watch the beautiful sunsets you can do that from your balcony.
Top Tip: Sitting relaxing in any of the harbourside tavernas

malia boat trip .... You are transferred by car to Malia harbour to join the boat and have a fun few hours travelling along the coast.Stop for swim, snorkel and light lunch then back along the coast and dropped off at sissi harbour ... Great trip

Favourite restaurants Lofito and Neromilos .... Both along the road out of Sissi only a short walk. Both are situated in garden style settings surronded by trees and lights food lovely staff really pleasant.

I have just had the most amazing holiday at Porto Sisi, the apartment was fantastic, clean, spacious and the location cannot be beaten! The hospitality from Anthi (the owner) is fabulous, so friendly and will advise or arrange anything for you. Her dog, Spark, is gorgeous and you will see them both a lot during your stay as Anthi is so attentive. Full marks from me and I can't wait to return!
Top Tip: I would recommend restaurant Agistri, as they are the most friendly waiters that I have come across, really enhanced my wonderful experience in Sisi. The Sisi Minigolf/Sunset bar is great, if you go there have a margarita and remember

Good facilities in a roomy apartment, kept superbly clean. Location wonderful - lovely patio, rooms with balconies and sea view - and pool! Highly convenient for restaurants and beaches. Hotel owner - Anthi - is a wonderful help with all arrangements e.g. car hire, places to visit. Definitely worth booking!
Top Tip: Best food and view in Sisi - Taverna Apostolos - great traditional food and fish - with help and conversation with Lawrence

A longer walk will take you around the coast road to Milatos - a quieter harbour with great atmosphere and restaurants. Visit Taverna Kohili for a great meal.

Travel into the mountains to see the 2000 yr old tree at Krassi and visit Kares Taverna for absolutely excellent traditional food (broad beans/ rabbit in wine etc.).
