About Crete

Stunningly beautiful, culturally diverse and full of fascinating places to explore, Crete is a perfect destination for all types of traveller.

You can take the kids and enjoy the sandy beaches and safe waters of the Mediterranean or go with a group of friends and party the week away in Malia. For those seeking history and culture, an abundance of ancient ruins, museums and mosques will intrigue and inform in equal measure.

The Samaria Gorge is the longest in Europe, offering a stunning trail from the White Mountains down to the Libyan Sea at the southern end of the island. All of this is accompanied by delicious, fresh food and locals that will welcome you to their traditional country with open arms.

Book With Us

We have almost 2000 hotels and apartments that you can choose from for your holiday to this fantastic island. With so much choice you won’t struggle to find something that fits your needs and we also have flights and transfers available to get you there and back without you worrying.

When To Go

Peak holiday season is between June and August, with those months also enjoying the best weather as temperatures reach into the 30s. During this time all the restaurants and bars will be open and the island is busy with a natural buzz about it. During September and October the weather remains mostly warm and the crowds die down as well.

Where to Stay

If it’s ancient treasures that you are in search of then look no further than the town of Heraklion, which is just a short car journey away from the Minoan palace at Knossos. Chania is an idyllic port town, with a huge amount on offer and the best food spots on the islands. For those in search of something more upbeat, Malia will allow you to let your hair down and party until the early hours.
