There has been much valid criticism regarding this hotel & whilst justified there are also responses taking place; action to correct areas where fault has been found. The hot food needs attention but it must be borne in mind that the hotel lost a very good head chef. Some of the cleaning needs improving and overall the middle management in places like the restaurant needs to become more professional (for instance not supervising and ensuring tables and chairs are properly cleaned before being reset & some instances of over familiarity with young waiting staff. That said, the hotel has begun to examine areas for improvement and they are listening and I also seen some satisfactory immediate actions. I visited at the end of the season, a difficult time to motivate staff in the face of steadily dwindling numbers of guests. However, there is a hard working Animation Team, Giovanni, Ela and two superb dancers Joella and David. The team in the bar were excellent so thanks to Lazuro and Fanis. The reception staff were better at speaking Russian than English but I always found them pleasant and helpful. Overall the staff are very friendly and helpful. What is needed is middle management training to improve and shared pride and standards in a hotel that has great potential. Do not be put off by earlier negative comments, they are receiving attention. I would have no hesitation in returning to the hotel. Large rooms and a lovely if quiet location.
Top Tip: On Fanes Beach only a few minutes walk from the hotel are a number of tavernas. I particularly enjoyed Akrogiali. If you are not too hungry share the greek salad, it is very generous.

Rooms are a good size and clean. Staff friendly. Phone in room not working and reported several times but never repaired. Food had little choice and often cold. Ice cream only available for 2 days during our 7 day stay. Minimal entertainment. Drinks were always available with a good selection.
Top Tip: Recommend car hire through the hotel as very reasonable price.

Another great holiday in this Hotel. I understand there have been some staffing issues but the hotel is clearly trying to address these. Nothing was too much trouble for them.
Top Tip: A great little taverna in the harbour which is owned by an older Greek couple and you can get beautiful home cooked Greek food.
