Lovely period building, with large comfortable rooms. Staff friendly and helpful. The full irish breakfast is superb, one of the best I have had, and will set you up for the day. The hotel is a little way out of the city ( a good 40 minute walk). But the bus stop is conveniently right outside, and the hotel provides bus schedules. Would definitely return for another visit.
Top Tip: Try the Thomond Pub in the city for a proper pub feed.

the people were very friendly and helpful, food very good and rooms large and comfortable. the only negative point is that it is situated a good way from the centre of Cork, although buses do stop outside the hotel. The train station is on same road as hotel but is a 40 minute walk away
Top Tip: Lovely trip to Cobh on the train, the Titanic Museum is fantastic
