Stayed in this hotel lots of times before and found it to be quite good but on this occasion i have found the hotel to be getting run down, i would not recommend this hotel to anyone after having stayed it this time,I found the management not very helpful and some what dismissive ,not interested. They could just not be bothered.

We arrived at 10AM after a long drive. Reception confirmed that check in was 3PM however without asking the Receptionist rang housekeeping to advise that she would be allocating us a room that had just been made ready. This was a welcome result as it allowed us to refresh and relax so that we could fully maximise the rest of our day. We also had full use of the attached leisure centre as guests of the hotel, an added bonus.
Top Tip: Fantastic Porterhouse Pub nearby selling craft beers and delicious food with a great view overlooking the sea front

Room was dreadful - smell of damp hit you when you opened door - burn marks on carpet made it look dirty - TV was something from the 60's and did not work. Radiator would not turn off & shower would not turn off fully after I had a shower. On the plus side bedlinen was clean , restaurant was nice and food was good. Hotel certainly seemed popular with the young.
Top Tip: A walk along the Prom is a must.
