Hotel was very good, clean tidy with very friendly staff. Our special request of a twin bedded room was accommodated for. We had an issue with the shower head which leaked and this was replaced within 24 hours. Parking was good. We only stayed BB, but can recommend the breakfast. There was plenty of choice, however, very limited hot food.
Only negative bits - TV didn't work and even though we reported this it was never resolved. Also, the hotel bar was quiet and the odd time we went in of an evening we couldn't find anyone to serve us so had to venture out for a nightcap.
Overall I would stay here again.

“ Overall we enjoyed our stay and the service was good. Staff always friendly and helpful. Rooms maintained and cleaned daily to a high standard. Restaurant service a bit slow and evening meal average and over priced. The hotel allows dogs to be taken into the dining room and also on to pool side which we thought inappropriate and unhygienic. Pool itself was rather small and limited. Hotel is well located and does afford some lovely views of the lake and surrounding area, with very easy access to a variety of restaurants and bars.
“ Top Tip: All the restaurants are worth considering, food is excellent. Pizza and pasta good value, other dishes more pricey. Drinks can be expensive. If you walk along the peninsula away from the castle for about 20 minutes there are some great spots to swim in the lake which is refreshing and clean.

“ Great location in the heart of things but is noisy at night due to this central location.

“ Having read some adverse comments about this hotel prior to our stay, we found the hotel to be well worth the stay. Minor criticism of reception staff, who gave mixed information about the ferry times out of season, but generally found staff friendly and helpful. Our room was very nice, and the height of luxury was to be able to enjoy the thermal spa facilities. Breakfast was OK with plenty of choice, and we chose to dine out, as there are some very nice restaurants no more than 50 metres from the hotel, or a 2-3 minute walk if you want to venture a little further into the town. Thoroughly enjoyed our time in Sirmione, and our stay at this hotel.
“ Top Tip: During October, the ferry service across the lake to other towns is limited. Effectively, Lake Garda is cut in half, and the furthest north you can get by ferry from Sirmione is Garda. A trip from Sirmione to Garda or Lazise is worth the effort (we went to Garda for lunch, took another ferry back to Lazise, then caught the last ferry from Lazise to Sirmione, which takes you back along the coast to Bardolino and Garda, which turns into a lovely sunset cruise if you're as lucky with the weather as we were at this time of year, October).
