“ The room they gave us was quite small and the bathroom even smaller. I rang reception and complained and after a few more telephone calls to reception we were offered a much bigger room and a much larger bathroom. The hotel is well situated for the main railway station and coach pick up and drop off for the airport shuttle and the hop on hop off tour buses. The breakfast was a cold buffet style, but with a help yourself hot choice comprising, bacon, egg and sausage. The hotel was very clean an staff very polite and helpfull. The only down side was that there were no English channels to be found on the TV.

“ Very well located for transport to rest of city. Eating places and shops nearby. Helpful staff. Great beds - adjustable by remote control. Room size adequate. Decor slightly dark but very clean.
“ Top Tip: Great family run restaurant in basement on Via Principe Amedeo next to Metropole Hotel.

“ Very well placed, easy walk from the Termini and to local bus stops. Lots of restaurants near by and close to stops for all the sightseeing bus tours. We had a triple room for 3 adults which was quite compact but nicely decorated with a good bathroom, although the third bed was a sofa bed which was a bit uncomfortable. The mattresses on the beds were comfortable and the pillows were superb. Lots of choice for breakfast. Overall, a very good stay.
“ Top Tip: Definitely get at least a day ticket for one of the sightseeing bus tours. They really do help you to get your bearings.
