From the moment we arrived we were made welcome and found the staff to be extremely helpful and friendly. Hotel in general was spotless. During the week used for Conferences and tour visits as well as individual and family groups like us
Room on 5th floor was easily accessed by lift, clean and comfortable with ample storage. Not noisy but it may get a bit hot in the summer!
Breakfasts were very good with a wide range of continental type foods but also scrambled egg and bacon etc.Plenty of choice.
We used the restaurant for evening meals having booked half board. Restaurant was rather quiet but the food and service was fine. (drinks rather expensive though).
Hotel well placed for a visit to the centre. Great for the Borgesse Gallery and park. Bus or tram into town is quite cheap though rather crowded at times so be prepared to stand.
Top Tip: No 19 tram takes you to the Gallery of Modern Art. Fantastic and its free on a Sunday!.
63 and 83 bus from Via Po, takes you into the town and close to all the the real touristy bits.
Visit the Keats/Shelley House next to the Spanish steps, well worth the visit.

the hotel was very comfortable, our room was well catered for, including mini bar and adequate storage, one small downfall was the layout of our bathroom, not suitable for tall people.
the lifts were prompt and breakfast was continental, but a little monotonous.
the area of the hotel was about a 40-45 walk to the sights of rome
Top Tip: about 5 minutes walk from the hotel near piazza ungheria is a wonderful taverna with excellent food and drink called al grottino del laziale, enrico the owner cooks and entertains.

Nice hotel Rooms nice and breakfast pleasant However the bar prices were too high Therefore we chose to drink elsewhere If the prices had been more reasonable I'm sure we would have spent some time and money in the bar at night
Top Tip: Little cafe/bar right across the road was really pleasant Only little but nice for a chat over a beer or coffee

Service at the hotel was good, however the shower room was tiny and also the location of our room overlooked the street market. Could have tolerated this for one day (naturally assumed it was a weekly market) but not every day as the stall holders started setting up at 6.45 a.m - a rather noisy experience.

Would have been good if we were informed it was a daily market in order that we could have requested a change of room or an upgrade which we would have been prepared to pay a little more for.
