“ We stayed at The hotel Principe for 3 nights. The hotel staff were welcoming from the moment we arrived. the room was a small double but had a generous bathroom. We were on the 4th floor unfortunately not overlooking the Grand canal but that did not take away from our experience.9.8 Exceptional

We stayed at The hotel Principe for 3 nights. The hotel staff were welcoming from the moment we arrived. the room was a small double but had a generous bathroom. We were on the 4th floor unfortunately not overlooking the Grand canal but that did not take away from our experience. Breakfast was well presented and self service with staff available to help and replenish. We did not eat an evening meal at the Hotel as it is situated with so many options just a few short steps away.
Location is ideal for a short or longer stay with river boats / taxi within a few steps and the Rialto bridge just about a 20 min walk away.
We would thoroughly recommend this Hotel, it was clean , comfortable and the staff were really helpful............exactly what you need when you are travelling.
“ Top Tip: DELI BAR DIAGONALLY OPPOSITE THE HOTEL TO THE LEFT IF STANDING WITH YOUR BACK TO THE HOTEL REALLY CHEAP COFEE AND SNACKS PERFECT FOR A SNACK TO EAT IN OR TAKE AWAY

“ Me and my husband spent 4 nights at this hotel in december and loved it! Very clean and very friendly and helpful reception staff. Defo staying here again on our next visit!
“ Top Tip: Hotel is on the grand canal - beautiful views. All the restaurants are a walk away. The one opposite the hotel was brill, loved the pizzas

A lovely hotel, beautiful to look at from the outside and typically decorated inside in the Venetian style.
We had a lovely twin bedded room overlooking the Grande Canal.
The hotel has a large terrace and we took our breakfast out there each morning and watched the activity on the canal as we ate.
The canal view room was subject to further supplement which was not explained fully when we checked in. However the manager sorted out the issue most amicably and agreeably.
We didn't eat in the hotel restaurant as we didn't think it had much atmosphere and was very brightly lit although the food looked very good.
“ Top Tip: Some lovely little snack bars right outside in the main street. However avoid the one opposite (a pasta and pizza place) as we were overcharged by 20 euros :(
