About Jamaica

White sandy beaches, the sound of reggae at sunset, and tasty jerk chicken – Jamaica is a treat. Whether you’re spending your honeymoon in Montego Bay or taking the family to Kingston, Jamaica offers year-round warm weather for your holiday.

Unique in its cultural and political history, Jamaica has strong ties to both Africa and Europe. The distinct character of the country means that there’s a lot of depth for you to uncover, and while the sandy beaches and golden rays are still there for you to enjoy, taking the time to discover the real Jamaica will bring you enormous rewards, from uncovering early European settlements in Spanish Town to charting the rise of reggae. Whether you’re lounging in Treasure Bay or taking in the Kingston culture, you’ll find your happy place in Jamaica.

Book With Us

We have a fantastic range of over 300 hotels and apartments across Jamaica, covering everything from luxury properties in the main ports of Kingston and Montego Bay to secluded resorts in Negril and Treasure Bay. To make it easier for you to find the best deals, you can sort hotels by rating, price, customer reviews or recommendation, as well as find the best travel options to get you to your destination.

When To Go

One of the main attractions of Jamaica is the year-round excellent weather, with temperatures between 26°C in the winter and 30°C in the summer. Although the temperature is quite consistent, winter tends to be the busiest time, with many people trading cold weather at home for a slice of Jamaican paradise. July to September is the rainy season, which means there’s a great chance of showers to disrupt your trip.

Where to Stay

Montego Bay is the island’s main tourist destination and that’s where you’ll find the most resorts, but if you’re looking for a more authentic Jamaican experience there are a number of other great destinations. Kingston is the country’s capital and there are a range of places to stay in the city, from luxury hotels to affordable guesthouses, while Negril and Ocho Rios have a selection of beautiful beach resorts.
