“ The Hotel can be noisy at times, as having 3 sides looking over the Pool, it acts as an echo Chamber.6.4 Above Average

“ Top Tip: Jesters pub/resturant just around the corner. Very nice food. Order a pizza to share, they are huge. Hannahs Bar near the bus station in Bugibba very nice staff, good for lunch and drinks in the evening, as well as the Apple Diner.

“ Hotel reception area was quite nice, staff friendly enough. Hotel was clean and tidy. Parts of it were a bit tired looking though. They were confused by my booking and couldn't work out if I was self catering or bed and breakfast, that was a bit annoying. One of the bars was never open. Wi fi was extremely poor and only just worked in reception area. Hotel is a glorified Bed and Breakfast which suited me just fine, holidays are about the place not the hotel. The third bed in the studio apartment was too narrow, the room was a good size so it could accommodate a larger third bed. Liked the outdoor pool and pool area, lots of space, liked the indoor pool as well. Stayed in worse and been chipped out of better! Malta is a lovely place. Would I stay at that Hotel again - Yes.
“ Top Tip: There were several good restaurants all within a 10 -15 minute walk. Head towards the Square.

“ This is tired hotel. It was probably at it's best in the 80's and 90's when I expect it was probably top notch. It still functions well and I liked it. The double rooms really are 2 good size rooms, both with balconies. The beds were really comfortable. I like the pool which was well maintained and a good 30m. It's a bit sad, the hotel just needs a revamp to bring it back to it's former glory. Good value value so cant complain.
“ Top Tip: Go to Gozo on a boat trip. Watch out for Jellyfish, don't swim without goggles. Enjoy the local food and ice creams which are much like Italian. Fat Harry's bar was excellent for food drink and live music. Use local buses which are comfortable, air conditioned, regular and cheap.

“ This was not a 4 star hotel. Very very dated. It smelt fusty and old. Food was ok considering what we paid.

“ Staff were very helpful and friendly. The Hotel is very tired and may have gained a 4* rating at some point but needs a major overall to bring it up to date. It is however very clean and although new sun loungers and umberallas are needed around the pool the pool itself is very nice and well maintained. The major fault we found was with the hotel generators which are located at ground level and run 24 hours a day. Our apartment overlooked this which wasnt very nice, constant noise.
“ Top Tip: Turn left and head to the main road for the nearest bus stops. Getting around the island on a 7 day pass, or a day pass which was only 2.60 euro, is so easy.
