  • Wonderful Riad! What a find! Isabel and her staff made us feel very welcome and nothing was too much trouble for them. We ate there most nights, and food was always authentic Moroccan and beautifully prepared. We booked our airport transfers direct with the Riad too, and taxis when we were there and so glad we did! No problems at all.

  • The Riad Vert, is so peaceful and offers a true feeling of Marrakech. The staff are excellent, rooms clean and exactly as the pictures show (upgrade to superior for the little extra it costs). USE the receptionist (Sana) for taxi arrangements, it is much cheaper and very well organised - including your taxi from the airport you will save 100 dirham (£10)

Stayed at this Riad in the first week of March '14. We were met by a young woman by the name of Sanna, who was not only pleasant and helpful but also knowledgeable and gave us some great advice.
The accommodation was very clean and we ate several meals in the Riad all of which were delicious.
We found Marrakech very busy and we walked every day to the main market areas easily found with Sanna's directions. There was plenty to see and it was quite an experience which we truly enjoyed.
The Riad is situated an area that is very much off the 'tourist' area and you are living with the local people. There are areas which appear run down, people are about their daily business and there is definitely a feeling of not only being abroad but also a realisation that aspects of daily life is both basic and hard for some of these people. We were treated with nothing but friendly smiles and politeness.
We would return to the Riad and find it refreshingly relaxing .All the staff were brilliant. Nothing was too much trouble.
In summing up I think you could probably find a more luxurious Riads, however the staff enhanced our visit. The owners I hope realise what little gems they have with their staff. Without them I would say that the Riad was good to average but because of the staff particularly Sanna and the gentleman( who worked at night and early morning) they elevated our experience from good to excellent.

Top Tip: Book your transfer with the Riad as we found our transfer did not know the exact location of the Riad.

Really lovely riad, Sanaa the manageress was amazing, very helpful booking taxi's and trips and dinner is the riad is lovely too.

Only disappointment was the pre arranged transfer - booked online, it would be better to arrange directly with the riad.
