Lovely 'oasis' after the hassle of Marrakech. The staff were all welcoming and happy to help - we managed in Marrakech with French and English . Traditional accommodation in a comfortable room. Breakfast was tasty, continental style with no choices but coffee and fresh orange juice were excellent. You can have lunch or an evening meal freshly cooked if you order at breakfast time - food was tasty, inexpensive and served in the inner courtyard which is beautiful and has a lovely ambiance.
Top Tip: Jardin Marjorelle are beautiful, peaceful and quiet - museum + cafe are also very good.

Isabel, the French owner of Riad Ver,t gave us a friendly welcome and good advice about getting around Marrakech. She was a source of very helpful information and contributed enormously to our stay at the Riad.
The room was acceptable with ample storage space and nice bathroom. The common areas were nicely decorated and comfortable. All the staff were polite and friendly and understood French if not English. After the noise and clamour of the Medina, entering the Riad was like finding an oasis.
If there was one drawback it would be that there is nowhere to eat in the immediate vicinity although meals at the Riad itself were very good but needed to be ordered in advance each morning.

Lovely, friendly Riad, with only 7 rooms, so almost like staying with friends! If you're looking for an antidote to "chain"hotels, then this is the place! Situated in the Medina, it is possible to walk to the main attractions of Marrakesh or take a taxi ,( organised by Isabel or Sanaa in the Riad), if you want.
The dinners in the Riad were excellent (we had 5 out of 7 nights, and varied each time). The hospitality and helpfulness of all the staff were a great antidote to the apparent chaos of street life outside, and Isabel and Sanaa spend their lives attending to the guests' requirements, as they speak good English, as well as French and Arabic.
I would highly recommend the Riad Vert if you want an authentic "Moroccan experience".

Six of us travelled to celebrate a friend's 'BIG' birthday. The rooms are a good size and very clean. The central courtyard is wonderful and we spent a lot of time relaxing there as well as on the glorious roof terrace.
Nothing was too much trouble for any of the staff, the owner Isabel , the manager Senaa, the night porter Aziz, the maid and cook. Isobel and Senaa are full of helpful advice re where to go, booking taxis and arranging trips, even making calls from home early one morning to try and get us booked in for a trip that day!!
We didn't have an evening meal in the Riad, choosing to sample the delights of Marrakech each evening, but the breakfasts were ample and slightly different on each of our four mornings, so a little surprise to guess what 'today's treat' would be!
If I go back to Marrakech I will certainly stop at Riad Vert
