Check-in date:

Hotel is in a quiet location. It is close to a casino and nightclub but these do not disturb guests at the hotel.
It has one pool, one cafe nearby, other restaurants, cafes etc 10 min taxi ride away.

Hotel was okay. It is not a 5 star hotel. Customer service is average. Drinks are extremely expensive. Do not book trips to places through the hotel as it is very expensive and also they are not the best options. I would say that they could be a bit misleading too. Restaurant staff are not very helful, don't speak english. Customer service is very poor!! I was having dinner one night and one of the waiters took my plate away even when my sister hadn't finished hers. Then he brought the main course to me when she was still eating her starter. This particular waiter was very rude. The room was average, bathroom was clean but very run down. If you take a taxi don't do it from the hotel, it could cost you 3 times more. Walk a few meters diwn the road and stop a taxi, you can negotiate the price. Also you could hire a taxi for a few hours to take you to the historical places for £15. Hotel would charge you 3 times that.

Top Tip: Near the hotel there is a supermarket if you want to buy bottles of water, snacks etc.. It is very cheap!

Spent weeks looking for a good hotel as it was our honeymoon, wife was getting really aggravated and was loosing patience. After searching and searching, I came to find this beautiful hotel and the wife was really impressed with my choice.

Hotel staff were very friendly and helpful, the pool was clean, the bedroom was impressive with a massive walk-in wardrobe. Cleaning service was excellent, we always found our room very tidy after a long day of excursions and shopping trips.

Extensive breakfast and lunch and dinner menu, in house restaurants were lovely and the little walk around the hotel was really romantic.

I would recommend this hotel to anyone and If i ever come back to Marrakech, Es Saadi is definetly where i will be staying again .

Maroc 2013!!!

Top Tip: Jame'el Fana was literally 10 minutes walk from the hotel, the area we stayed seemed a little more upmarket, there are a few designer outlers such a Loui Vuitton, and Others.

Unsatisfactory

Check-in date:

Rooms are quite well equiped very comfortable beds,Very good breakfast and the pool side cafe was nice with a good menu. The big dissapointment was the half board dinner in the main resturant food often cold and not cooked properly or atractivly presented....All of the staff were very kind and attentive and rather imbarresed by the standard of the food not even 3 star .

Very comfortable hotel, excellent facilities and located close (easy walking distance) to the (old) centre of Marrakech.

Top Tip: Suggest you make up your mind what you want from visit to Marrakech before selecting hotel and hotel location. "Plusher" hotels (such as this one) were removed and discreetly isolated from the "full-on Moroccan experience" that would be available from the lower standard (but more atmospheric) "Riads" available in the old town - but the "full-on Moroccan experience" (persistent market traders, monkey handlers, snake charmers etc) can get a bit wearing after a time?
Weather-wise, late March - early April, proved an extremely agreeable time to visit (heating up nicely, May - Sept could be oppressively hot?) and fabulous light and colours from spring flowers / snow on mountains. Fabulous scenery on trips outside Marakech (Ourika valley, Ouzoud cascades and Ouarzuzate all recommended), but each entailed significant time in transport and difficult roads? Car hire and self-driving is not for the faint-hearted (incomplete english-script signage and maniacal driving mentality)?
