“ Excellent hotel, close to most places of interest very near to Dam square. Go for the canal view rooms, which are excellent. Breakfast good value for money, and staff really helpful. Would recommend this hotel to mainly able people as the steps are quite steep accessing the hotel, but suitable for both young and old couples, but perhaps not families.9.5 Exceptional

“ Top Tip: Most people are bound to want to go to the Red Light District, and we were recommended to go on a guided tour first. This was a brilliant idea and gave us the confidence to tour the area on our own, and no it is not just about sex shops, as there are may places of interest to visit, like the "Secret Church", and the restaurants are excellent and reasonably priced.

“ Great location. 5 minute walk from train station and 3 minute walk from dam square.

“ My room was very tiny but clean and the bathroom was ok. The staff were pleasant and helpful. The hotel is in the perfect location and extremely central to all areas and easy to get to via public transport.
“ Top Tip: Close to some very good restaurants.

“ This hotel was in a very good location. The hotel itself was tired, the room was hot and there was no air con and you could not open the windows. No tea making facility either.

“ Brilliant location to the main square, shops, museums and the train station, but far enough for the nightlife noise not to disturb sleep. The room was basic with an ensuite bathroom, cleaned daily and stocked with towels, soap, shampoo and hairdryer. A small desk in the bed room was perfect for writing our postcards! The hotel staff were very helpful in all our enquiries and the desk was manned all night so there was no curfew as well as someone always available. Breakfast was varied; cereal, toast, breads, could meats and fruit. Personally I prefer cereal and a cup of tea but found the cereal choice too limited so settled for toast (which you made yourself). Overall a lovely hotel, we would definitely use it again should we return to Amsterdam.
“ Top Tip: Dam square is less then 5 minutes walk from the hotel, as is Anne Frank's house and a road of cafe's in the opposite direction.
