We stayed during the school Easter Holidays (7th -11th April) but their was no entertainment of any kind for the children (or adults). The outdoor pools were freezing and you had to wear a bathing cap to use the small indoor pool which you had to buy from the hotel for 5 euros. The hotel was very short staffed, they were all racing around in the restaurant to clear tables for people who were queueing up to get in. Peolpe were waiting up to an hour for snacks mid afternoon. No spirits served before 4 on all inclusive, very limited snacks available burgers, hot dogs and chips. Evening meals not great, but edible choice of a fish, meat and pasta dish each evening, jelly, fruit or cake for dessert (cake ran out quickly). The weather was lovely and warm (in the 70's) we spend each day on the beach. Wouldn't recommend this Hotel only had the towels changed once during our stay.
Top Tip: Nothing near by, we hired a car to get to the beaches.

we were in a two bed apartment and it was superb, the whole complex was excellent the only fault i would say was the restaurant the whole lay out of it doesn't work well, people queuing for a long time just to get in to the restaurant then waiting again for food. The shuttle bus has a very good service that takes you to The Old Town. A very enjoyable stay loved it!!
Top Tip: A trip to Zoo Marine great day out and a must" the cake shop" next to Villa Gale Hotel (the train stops outside it.)

The apartment was very spacious, nicely furnished and very well equipped. The complex was clean with 1 indoor and 3 outdoor pools. The restaurant was quite busy at all times but there was always somewhere to sit, with extra seating available outside for the warmer days. The free shuttle bus from the Hotel to the Old Town of Albufeira was really useful and very popular. Overall, a great place to stay with friendly staff, good facilities and amazing apartments. Will definitely return.

The beds in our "4 star?" apartment and that of our son's family next door were made only once in the week we stayed and also towels changed only once.

No designated lounge area - casual seats only in the main bar with totally insufficient seating for the number of people staying.

The public areas were often flooded and, whilst I appreciate the weather was very unusual for the time of year, the weather conditions do not cover this lapse which was probably due to extreme under-staffing in all aspects of the resort. A very small number of staff were doubling up covering both the bar area and restaurant almost at the same time every day.

The indoor pool opening times are restricted to 5 days a week and this is meant to be a Spa.

Overall, definitely not a 4 star AI resort. Very unfortunate as the very over-worked staff were extremely lovely.

This was our 7th time in Albufeira (covering most times of the year) and we are in fact going back to Albufeira in 6 weeks time but NOT to the Eden Resort.
Top Tip: Dom Capito Restaurant is excellent - just behind the Civic Building. We have eaten many times there in the past and again this time. We will do so again as the food quality is consistent every time we eat there.
