On the whole is a nice friendly place very conveniently situated. The grounds and pool area are clean and well maintained.
Have stayed there a number of times but found this time there was a lack of essentials in the apartment. Had to request a kettle, kitchen utensils etc. Could also do with some decent larger cups and wine glasses, and perhaps a tea towel.
The maid service was good, with towels and bedding changed regularly whilst we were there for the 2 weeks.
Top Tip: A local bar El Gringo (opposite Mercadona ) is very friendly, and most times serve free tapas with your beer. The Japonese down on the road on the same side as Mercadona is brilliant, well worth a visit. Also the Wok further round the bend as the Japonese but on the opposite side of road is good. Breakfast is excellent at Universal which is on left hand side of road once you have gone down towards the shops.
Also Classica Gourmet Spanish restaurant on right hand side going towards the shops is a lovely place with good good.

Staff were efficient and pleasant. There was quite a good choice of food at breakfast and dinner.
Top Tip: We stayed at this hotel to do some cycling in Spain. There was an excellent cycle hire shop opposite the hotel, the "Meta Bike Café". We hired lightweight bikes for the week and were able to keep them conveniently and safely in our hotel apartment.

The apartment was good, and kept clean regularly. We were on the all-inclusive so didn't need kitchen facilities, but it was nice to have a fridge and kettle. The public areas were kept very clean, including the restaurant, which provided an excellent choice of food, and friendly staff. The rest of the staff were all very friendly and helpful, especially on the bar and front desk, who kindly allocated rooms in our block for our friends when they joined us. We had requested a quiet block, and for all our stay (one month) this remained so. The hotel is not close to the beach, but this is not necessarily a disadvantage, as a 20-minute walk is good exercise! You can catch the No. 10 bus outside the hotel, which will take you to a stop near the beach. In the other direction, the bus stop opposite the hotel takes you to Benidorm in about 30 minutes. The fare is 1.50 euro to any bus stop.
Top Tip: The Albir Medical Centre is only 2 minutes' walk from the hotel - the European Medical Card may be used here for treatment. They need your card and passport.

For a coffee on the sea front, we can recommend the Paradise Cafe Bar, nice to sit outside and look at the sea on a nice day, or if it's cold, inside is cosy with TV! Staff friendly and speak English.
