We have stayed at this apart hotel three times over the past four years on a half board arrangement but think that the food selection on the evening meals has gone down in quality this year.
The rooms are kept clean and towels changed every day.
We have stayed both in the hotel part and in the outer blocks and much prefer the stay at the hotel as lifts are in operation and being in our 70's is more practicable, but this is not always available.
Top Tip: A very large Supermarket is just across the road and is excellent for all ones needs in an apartment.

Very pleasant and helpful staff. The only comment I would make would be that the apartments could do with a little updating, e.g. coat of paint, replace cracked tiles, but clean and well presented.
Top Tip: Plenty of places to eat and drink very reasonably priced. Places I would recommend are the Japanese Restaurant opposite Lidl, excellent food, and El Gringo bar is nice for a drink/tapas, opposite Mercadona.

The hotel grounds are really nice and clean.....the room we stayed in was very dated and tired, it could do with some decorating and modernising

5 night stay on All Inclusive basis 7th October 2013, 2 adults 46 and 50, first time holidaying without our children, glorious weather, (just setting the scene!!) This hotel is a typical example of 'you get what you pay for' I don't mean that in a bad way, it is after all a 2 star hotel, rated as such probably because of the age, facilities etc. 1. Location- in town centre, about 15 mins walk to beach passed shops and a few bars and restaurants, bus stop and taxi rank directly outside, number 10 bus takes you to Benidorm or Aleta for 1.5 euros, amazing supermarkets 2 mins away if on self catering. 2. Hotel- pretty low rise buildings, about 8 blocks set around a lovely pool and garden area, the low rise means the sun is not blocked out by high rise buildings even in the lower winter sun, we had a small apartment even though we were on AI basis, showing its age a bit but fine, kitchen had a fridge and two burner hob, bathroom large walk in shower a bedroom and lounge with table and sofa bed, could have been a smidge cleaner around taps etc, but liveable and maids came in every day to make beds change towels if needed etc. 3. Food - what yon would expect for a 2 stars hotel I think, the usual 2 soups, good salad selection, always something cooking fresh on the grill then a couple of other dishes, fish, something in a sauce etc, a small selection of veg, potatoes pasta rice etc, fruit, ice creams, mousse, cake etc, on the whole everything was very nice, the breakfast was very nice! 4. Entertainment- not the best I've seen! Spanish lady singing four nights out of seven! she was good but a bit repetitive, aimed at the older generation I would say, would have been no good if I had taken my teenage children! 5. Staff - can't fault them, hard working, polite, helpful. summary - if you get a good deal like we did then it's a great hotel for the money! I would go again, Albir and Aleta are much more 'Spainishy resorts, if you love the bright lights of Benidorm it may bit a little quite for you but I preferred it! and Benidorm is only a bus ride away.
Top Tip: Amazing 'mercado' (supermarket) 2 mins down the road if on self catering basis
