After reading the reviews i was a bit dubious about visitng the hotel, but I thought i'd go and give it the benefit of the doubt. On arriving at the hotel it was absolute chaos in teh main reception area, it was full of teenagers that had come from all over the world fro a singing competition! After fighting our way through them to reception we were given our room keys. The room was as expected for what we payed, it was clean and there was ample room for the three of us, the only downfall to the room was that there was a smell coming from the toilet, plenty of deodrant and it cleared. There was plenty of food to choose from during meal times it's just that the melas were very repetative. The best part of teh food was snack time, i have stayed in several all inclusives in the past, and this hotel provided the best snacks(toast, chips, hot dpgs, burgers, salads and more). During the night it was hard to get to sleep as there was so much noise from the youunger people taht had come on school trips, and ost nights teh noise ran through until the earl hours of the morning, slightly frustrating when we had a three year old. The staff were very pleasant and always willing help, despite the long hours they worked each day. Children's entertainment was very good, there was something for the children to do thrughout the whol day and eveing, and a really good effort was made for halloween. The last night was very dissapointing - the hotel was over run with locals that had come to stay, they just totally took over the hotel, they were pinching chairs, had the run of the restauraunt wich made it impossible for us to get a space to eat and were totally rude.
Top Tip: The sister hotel - Calella Palace you can have one meal during the week there and use their facilities unilimited during 10am - 7pm, drinks included, well worth the visit.

Quite a basic hotel but provides good value for the price charged. Food is ok providing you are selective. We had requested a room on a high floor and were lucky enough to be given a room on the top floor at the front. Staff do their best in a very busy situation bearing in mind there are over 500 rooms so when full ,over 1000 guests. The bedroom and public rooms were kept clean but the facilities are adequate rather than luxurious.
Top Tip: Search out the tourist office on the main road in the direction of Pineda, about a five minute walk from the hotel. We found them very helpful with maps, timetables Tec.
