Our customer reviews
Heidi from High Wycombe
The hotel as a whole is not bad - it is cleaned everyday. The rooms as small, we asked for a double bed, however the room was smaller than a room with twin beds and we had to move the bed every time we wanted to shut the bathroom door. We had the smallest balcony - not room to sit and was seriously overlooked so had our curtains shut the majority of the time! A far as the view it was everyone else's balcony!
The staff were pleasant enough but never enough people on reception!
There was always plenty of food and a real variety - bit random but can't really complain. The nicest part of the hotel is the roof terrace although the hot tubs weren't really hot and had quite a bit of chlorine.
Two minute walk to the beach and the beach is clean so good location and a 5 min walk into the town. Train station is a good 20 minute walk.
Would not recommend for a young couple - suitable for families and older couples.
“ Top Tip: Recommend you get on the train and spend a day in Barcelona.

“ Me and my partner stayed @ this hotel 24/9/2013 for 9 days, we found hotel very clean and we had clean towels everyday . The food in the hotel was always cooked well and we found the four dining staff very hard working, helpful and pleasant . we did nt need to use reception much but they were also polite and helpful . There are plenty of places to relax i.e. outdoor pool area, heated indoor pool area not forgetting the roof terrace which has 2x Jacuzzis which we made use of. We highly recommend a holiday @ this hotel and we found the resort to be a hidden gem.
“ Top Tip: We found a lovely Spanish run bar called "la bodega" in the square next to the irish bar . If you want a good british pub with good banter and atmosphere from john the landlord go to "alcatraz" fun pub .which is 2 streets up on the left.

“ Lovely location overlooking the beach, tourist train stops right outside which will take you on a round trip around the resort. Close to bars and eateries and a short stroll into town centre which has usual tapas bars and tourist shops. Area and hotel dominated by Russian and German tourists which reflects on menus and atmosphere in hotel and nearby bars and restaurants. Hotel staff very friendly although not much going on in hotel entertainment wise. Allocated room on top floor at rear whch provided a view of the hills, unfortunately no sun on our balcony when we were in the room. Rooms small but cleaned daily and towels changed when left on bathroom floor (sign on wall indicates this is how to request towel change). Would have preferred another pillow but I'm sure if we had asked for one they would have obliged. Strong smell of sewerage in room on arrival back in afternoon which went once balcony door was opened and bathroom window opened to allow air flow. Pitied other rooms that didnt have a window in their bathroom. Found it strange that our bathroom window was on next doors balcony and we could over-hear their conversations quite clearly and I'm sure visa versa! Tv in room but no remote control. Safe available at extra cost from reception. Didn't use the pool due to bad weather but did take in the lovely view from the rooftop terrace. Food was as expected, stayed half board and found breakfast to be better of two meals. Cereals, bread, toast, cold meats n cheese, powdered juices, hot plate with fried n boiled eggs, bacon (similar to streaky but not cooked enough for my liking), beans, hotdog sausages, potatoes, fresh fruit n yogurts, tea coffee machine. Unfortunately dinner was not as appetising with limited choice but predominately fish. Very strict with no food outside restaurant policy which included drinks. All drinks in restaurant were chargeable including water at a pricey €1.30 for a small bottle. When buying a bottle of wine they will cork it and label it with your room number for the following night which helps with cost for drinks at dinner. Overall had a pleasant short break but had enough after 3 nights.
“ Top Tip: Area around hotel is very dominant with Germans and Russian tourists, only a couple of English atmosphere pubs nearby. Gringo Joes is a short stroll away but does a lovely breakfast and large mug of english tea. White horse is downstairs and advertised as caberet bar although didnt sample it during our trip. The Alcatraz pub is a typical fun pub with karaoke and loud people, ok if you want a blast but not if you want a nice relaxing drink. Papas is owned by Spanish guy but attracts English, again nice place to meet other Brits with English music. Pizza/burger bar on corner opposite subway entrance to the beach was great. Large pizza slice only €2.50 and makes fresh crepes with fillings while you wait, lovely family that run this and very helpful.
