This is a hotel that is near to the beach and lies between the city of Malaga and town of Torromolinos. There is a 18 hole golf course a short distance away and the hotel offers indoor entertainments during the daytime, usually in the afternoons. The beach in front of the hotel is sandy, flat and stretches for some distance in both directions. Not every room has a sea view so it's best to check beforehand that your room is provided with this. The rooms are clean and serviced daily, but are a bit dated (no flat TVs just the old type big models and no tea and coffee making in rooms) also the bathrooms although ok need updating, they have baths in them with overhead shower attachments and would be better off made into just shower wet rooms. However that said the hotel is well looked after and has free tea, coffee, fruit juice and water on tap most of the day and night. The swimming pool area is large with kids pool and also an indoor pool as well. Plenty of outside pool furniture around to sit or lie on. The entertainment area is limited and a bit restricted and if the hotel is busy during winter could prove a problem. The entertainment was the usual magic, singer, dancer type thing normally associated with most hotels. Food was plentifull served buffet style with a good selection catering to most Tastes. The staff make up for what the hotel lacks, very helpful and friendly, even the hotel director gets stuck in at meal times and you don't see that very often. Nothing was too much and so you should have a good stay providing your not expecting the Ritz standard! We rated it as between 3 and 4 star on our own personal hotel scale. It was our 2nd time staying there in two years and if going back to this area would consider it again.
Top Tip: Malaga is a lovely Spanish city with something for everyone, it's a short taxi ride away from the hotel €18 approx each way. Or you can get a bus (no 110) from the bus depot about 10 mins walk away very cheap or the train, the station is about the same distance from the hotel, again very cheap. " Torro, " is within walking distance, about 25 mins away along the flat seafront but there are steep steps up into the town which is only smallish and a bit run down in places ( shut up shops etc ). However there is still enough shops, restaurants, cafes and the rest to keep most people busy. If you ask around you will discover that there is a lift available to take you up into the town centre for a small fee. There is also a bus service very near to the hotel which will take you to the centre, the L2 bus costs €1.30 p.p. It's a flat fare no matter what distance traveled and runs in a loop. The hotel also offers other coach trips to interesting sites outside of the area at reasonable rates. Worth considering as you can get to places like Gibraltar or Granarder. We think the area fits most moderate pockets, singles, parents, and oldies alike but the teens might find there's not enough to do in the winter months?

Fantastic hotel. I cannot fault it.
Top Tip: Lots to see and do within 20 min walk. Close to train and bus service to visit the attractions.

I have been staying at the hotel for 13 years. It is always a very pleasant and relaxing stay. The staff are very welcoming and pleasant. Rooms are very clean and well presented. The food is excellent with a good choice at each meal.
Transport to shops, cafes and the town is very close and convenient. There are smaller shops and supermarkets close too. The seaside walks and beach are beside the hotel and are really beautiful.
Recommended for a relaxing, leisurely holiday. The weather can be variable but is generally much warmer and sunnier than Northern European countries.

Visited this Hotel in February. It's location was good, it was clean but very dated, the staff were excellent and the food was very good.Only down side for us (two couples aged 56 to 62) was that it was full of very old people who were obviously returning guests and very rude.

This hotel is good but I wouldn't rave about it. If you are an older traveller it probably ticks the boxes, but it was a little outdated and in need of refurbishment for my tastes. The wifi was poor and non existent in our room, meaning we had to sit at reception to use it. The hairdrier was the worst I have ever come across, but by far the most annoying thing was that you couldn't get a seat in the lounge area if you were in the second sitting for dinner (6pm or 7.45pm), as all the seats were taken. I wouldn't necessarily want to sit in the hotel every night on holiday, but it would have been nice to have the choice. I felt we missed out on the entertainment, and can't imagine what it would be like in high season. Having said all that, there were positives to this hotel. The staff are extremely friendly, attentive and helpful. The hotel and grounds are immaculately clean and the food was good, with a varied selection. I wouldn't choose to return, but there were certainly many guests there who are repeat customers.
