“ Hotel was beautiful and in lovely location. Excellent variety of food for breakfast and for dinner although the evening meal was rather bland. Most of the reception staff were helpful - one advised us to use the bus and train to collect my other daughter from the airport and this was much cheaper than a taxi.7.9 Very Good

“ Hotel was clean! Rooms were a good size and cleaned every day, towels changed daily bedding weekly. Food was good lots of choice for both breakfast and eve meal. Staff in resaurant very polit and helpful. Pool was very busy even in April, towels put on sunbeds very early but quite often no one on bed all day! Position of hotel don't think can be beaten! Few metres from beach and many bars and restaurant! Would have liked fridge to included in price but apparently have to buy drinks from hotel to have it turned on! Only know this from other reviews as no body mentioned fridge when we booked in! No free WI FI but plenty from bars along the promonade! Entertainment some nights better than otheres! Drinks in eve quite often put in different size glasses! Ordered pint one night the glass given was not a pint glass! SmaLl beers often in differnt size glasses some not half pint size!! Would stay at hotel again but not in summer as pool area not big enough.
“ Top Tip: We went to Lennys just opposite back of hotel! Used the beach there and free Wi Fi and had drinks there.

Hotel was beautiful and in lovely location. Excellent variety of food for breakfast and for dinner although the evening meal was rather bland. Most of the reception staff were helpful - one advised us to use the bus and train to collect my other daughter from the airport and this was much cheaper than a taxi. They were also very helpful in arranging late check-out. However some of the staff were not so helpful and would leave you standing at the desk without acknowledging your presence to finish what they were doing.
On arrival the 1st night we were too late for dinner and on asking at reception where we could eat we were just told "across the road somewhere" which wasn't particularly useful as it was 11.30 pm and it was dark. I noticed straight away that we could hear the Karaoke bar across the road and should have asked to be moved to the other side of the hotel but in the end it wasn't too bad as the loud music stopped around 12.
Would definitely go back to the hotel and recommend but with a room not overlooking the street!
The local bus is reasonable but to get to Torremolinos it takes around 20 minutes but coming back it takes at least 40!! The drivers make no attempt to try to help you unless you can speak to them in Spanish. This is fair enough as I don't expect that everyone should speak my language but they were actually very rude and very unhelpful and although I don't know enough to speak Spanish, I understood enough to know that he was telling another passenger that he wouldn't help me because I didn't speak to him in Spanish. The other passenger, however, was extremely helpful and directed me to the closest train station and how to get back again. I think she felt bad as the driver was so rude.
Train travel is also very reasonable and the line runs from Malaga to Fuengirola.
