“ Generally really great hotel with a great location for a quiet relaxing holiday. Quality and choice of the food was very good although we did seem to catch the week wrong. Arriving on a Wednesday means that you miss out on some of the other themed menus because they change every Saturday.8.5 Excellent

We paid for the junior suite, which is a bigger room with a Jacuzzi. For 5 days of the holiday, the water in the room was barely luke warm to warm. The receptionist/maintenance did respond to our request to sort out the hot water very quickly, however, it took 5 days to sort. Together with this we had no power one morning in the room and the water in the Jacuzzi was yellow. To try and compensate for our troubles the Manager did kindly give us a voucher to use in the spa (children can only use the spa until 2.30 each day) he also reduced out drinks bill by 25%. The weather in Feb can be hit and miss, and whilst sunny it is very windy, which makes it cold. Although the pools were warm, we did go out of the hotel to see what else we could do to occupy the children. I must say that there was not a great deal to do.
The hotel is kept very clean and the staff are very friendly. We opted for full board, and I think its important to state clearly that apart from breakfast, absolutely no drinks are included with this package. This wasn't clear when we booked the holiday on line, so to find out that a soft drink was not included with your meal was a let down. I do also think that at meal times, a hot drink should be provided at the end of your meal, and this should be included with your food package. The food at the hotel was nice, but I've had nicer is some 4 star places.
The pools are lovely and the area around the pool is very well maintained. For those that enjoy champagne, it is available every morning at breakfast, very in keeping with a 5 start establishment.

“ The hotel was beautiful, however the pools were cold. The staff were fantastic and could not have been more accommodating, if there was any downside it would be that the cleaners start far to early, ensuring you are awake by 7am.

“ Generally really great hotel with a great location for a quiet relaxing holiday. Quality and choice of the food was very good although we did seem to catch the week wrong. Arriving on a Wednesday means that you miss out on some of the other themed menus because they change every Saturday. The same thing applied to the sports activities. The staff were generally helpful, although we found the staff to be more attentive at the sister hotel in Tenerife. The Birthday Cake and bottle of Fizz was a really nice touch on my Birthday.

The hotel deserves it 5 star rating particularly when you talk to other people staying in other hotels in the area. The staff are very welcoming and the cleanliness of the hotel cannot be faulted. Food is excellent and anyone having the concern about the main restaurant being a buffet should not be concerned. The selection is huge and many of the main course dishes such as steak or fish are cooked to order.
I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.
