“ Food is average, not 5 star dining as catering for large numbers. Staff in the main dining area were great, far better than rest of hotel. Staff on the whole varied, some were very good & others were below average. Rooms lovely size and hotel layout very good. Spa is looking a little on the tired side and staff varied in attitude here as well, but children allowed in at certain times of the day which was good. Fitness centre open 24 hours a day and had a reasonable selection of equipment, although one running machine was broken and stayed that way throughout trip. Hotel for the whole 9 days was on the aeroplane flight path for landing, which although the noise didn't go on all day, it was quite loud at 7.30 in the morning! Having a Beach directly outside the hotel was great.

I didn't rate this hotel as 5* as it didn't have the extra luxurious touches. No turn down service or decorative extras in room, which was large, as was the bathroom with separate walk in shower. Cheap uncomfortable pool beds with no mattresses, no changing booth at pool. Entertainment was limited to a performer in the reception area .Drinks and snacks were expensive.
The staff were cheerful and helpful. Food was excellent with plenty of choice and cooked to order by a very helpful chef. Dining room was spacious with tables well laid out.
“ Top Tip: Tribute shows were on every night at Pieros about a 15 minute walk from the hotel. A nice friendly bar, Ocean View, was a 10 minute walk the other way from the hotel. They had a duo, who performed on Fridays and Saturdays, singing songs from the 60's to the present day.

“ Top Tip: Excellent resturant near the sea wall by the port.

We paid for the junior suite, which is a bigger room with a Jacuzzi. For 5 days of the holiday, the water in the room was barely luke warm to warm. The receptionist/maintenance did respond to our request to sort out the hot water very quickly, however, it took 5 days to sort. Together with this we had no power one morning in the room and the water in the Jacuzzi was yellow. To try and compensate for our troubles the Manager did kindly give us a voucher to use in the spa (children can only use the spa until 2.30 each day) he also reduced out drinks bill by 25%. The weather in Feb can be hit and miss, and whilst sunny it is very windy, which makes it cold. Although the pools were warm, we did go out of the hotel to see what else we could do to occupy the children. I must say that there was not a great deal to do.
The hotel is kept very clean and the staff are very friendly. We opted for full board, and I think its important to state clearly that apart from breakfast, absolutely no drinks are included with this package. This wasn't clear when we booked the holiday on line, so to find out that a soft drink was not included with your meal was a let down. I do also think that at meal times, a hot drink should be provided at the end of your meal, and this should be included with your food package. The food at the hotel was nice, but I've had nicer is some 4 star places.
The pools are lovely and the area around the pool is very well maintained. For those that enjoy champagne, it is available every morning at breakfast, very in keeping with a 5 start establishment.
