“ Lovely apartment, had front balcony and rear enclosed courtyard. Only one restaurant open assume because early season but food was fabulous. Full fry up with multiple continental choice as well juices and teas coffee etc for breakfast, help yourself. Big choice at lunch and evening meal as well, also beer on tap Location a bit far from main drag if you have any problems with walking however little train runs up and down not sure of the fare as didn't use it. Small commercial centre on doorstep with supermarket and 5 pubs. Dont pay for TV as you get a few channels anyway. Internet was 25 euros and we didnt have a problem connecting to it. We requested sea view however what we could actually see was a 12cm v shape over the roofs of other apartments. Multiple sunbeds at pool so no problems there and a kids play area that scooted water from giant sized pipes. Would go again but later in year as weather wasn't so good
“ Top Tip: The Red lion does a mint sangria jug for 7 euros and the Bell pub has all the sport and soaps on large screen TVs. In the town try Gambrinus restauarant lovely food (try their chateaubriand) and not your burger, pie chips etc.

Myself and two female friends were a bit unsure of what we would find after reading some reviews but were very pleasantly surprised at the condition and cleanliness of our accommodation and the lovely sea view (C area). Would not have liked to have been in A area. We had plenty clean towels and the offer of having the sheets changed twice on a seven day stay. Breakfast and lunch were very good, dinner a bit repetative but there was always a choiceof hot and cold meals and good restaurants a short walk away (Fado Rock especially good). Entertainment pretty basic but the girls did try their best to entertain and children certainly enjoyed themselves. Very impressed with cleanliness of all areas including reception and both pools. Very satisfied with value for money, all inclusive we got what we expected and a bit more.

“ great value for money, the hotel location was good, the bungalow style apartments were good as you had the choice to make snacks and drinks and you had a fridge and microwave, don't go expecting the food to be very interesting as it was quite basic but having said that there was plenty of it and just good basic meals but I will say they had plenty of fresh fruit and at meal times and the bar area and tea and coffee all the time as well, would say don't read all the bad reviews on balance a nice place good value helpful and friendly staff not sure what it would be like in the summer months but the winter months good choice.
“ Top Tip: we had a great meal at the wild west restaurant tex mex and italian meals not far away from the hotel a short walk

“ Needs a bit of updating but room was clean. You have to hire toaster and Kettle if you want them, we took a travel kettle with us and hired the toaster as my 6yr old always likes toast before bed! There is a fridge and micowave. Food is ok, I would say between 2 and 3 star, but we all managed to eat and enjoy it evry day. Kids entertainers Jose and Ash are lovely and work really hard. The pools are freezing, once in and swimming about your ok butno good to just bob about in you'd get too cold. Beach is really close, as are lots of bars and eating places if you did fancy venturing out for a change. Beds are quite hard but after a few cocktails we didn't notice too much. It is quite hilly so not really suitable for anyone bad on their feet. Walk to beach is downhill but walk back a bit harder! Our 6yr old had a few moans but a few piggy backs did the trick.
