Myself and two female friends were a bit unsure of what we would find after reading some reviews but were very pleasantly surprised at the condition and cleanliness of our accommodation and the lovely sea view (C area). Would not have liked to have been in A area. We had plenty clean towels and the offer of having the sheets changed twice on a seven day stay. Breakfast and lunch were very good, dinner a bit repetative but there was always a choiceof hot and cold meals and good restaurants a short walk away (Fado Rock especially good). Entertainment pretty basic but the girls did try their best to entertain and children certainly enjoyed themselves. Very impressed with cleanliness of all areas including reception and both pools. Very satisfied with value for money, all inclusive we got what we expected and a bit more.

“ great value for money, the hotel location was good, the bungalow style apartments were good as you had the choice to make snacks and drinks and you had a fridge and microwave, don't go expecting the food to be very interesting as it was quite basic but having said that there was plenty of it and just good basic meals but I will say they had plenty of fresh fruit and at meal times and the bar area and tea and coffee all the time as well, would say don't read all the bad reviews on balance a nice place good value helpful and friendly staff not sure what it would be like in the summer months but the winter months good choice.
“ Top Tip: we had a great meal at the wild west restaurant tex mex and italian meals not far away from the hotel a short walk

“ Needs a bit of updating but room was clean. You have to hire toaster and Kettle if you want them, we took a travel kettle with us and hired the toaster as my 6yr old always likes toast before bed! There is a fridge and micowave. Food is ok, I would say between 2 and 3 star, but we all managed to eat and enjoy it evry day. Kids entertainers Jose and Ash are lovely and work really hard. The pools are freezing, once in and swimming about your ok butno good to just bob about in you'd get too cold. Beach is really close, as are lots of bars and eating places if you did fancy venturing out for a change. Beds are quite hard but after a few cocktails we didn't notice too much. It is quite hilly so not really suitable for anyone bad on their feet. Walk to beach is downhill but walk back a bit harder! Our 6yr old had a few moans but a few piggy backs did the trick.

This hotel has had some poor reviews, especially around the food, so we were concerned, however there was no reason to be. We had two bungalows next to each other. These were cleaned 3 times a week. Nice and roomy, Complaints - there looked like a fist mark in the dividing door in our bungalow and in my parents the bedside drawers would not stay on their runners - need some love and attention. 3 pools, two quiet ones and one with slides and the pool bar, more suited to the families, again lovely and clean. Food - well breakfast was not an issue as previously stated, if you can not choose anything from the selection you do not like then I dont know what you eat - there were 4 cereal choices, fruit, yogurt, ham and cheese, fresh pancakes, fresh omelettes made while you waited with your choice of filling, toast, rolls, sausages, tomatoes, eggs, mushrooms, bacon - not English and smoked so not my choice - beans, oh and croissants and pastries, there were juices and hot drinks, I am fussy about my coffee but couldn't wait to get in and get one, beautiful. Lunch always had salad bar, cheese and meat slices, pizza, a fish and meat choice and usually another meat cooked whilst you were there, choice of jelly, ice cream, rice pudding and cakes available everyday, and the same again in the evening with different options. Both with fizzy drinks including tonic water, choice of white, red and rose and a lager available as well as the coffee for after.
Within 10 minute walking distance from the town especially if you walk down slope next to reception and under the underpass of main road, almost there then.
There are a lot of steps which again we were worrying about due to two of us being 'not a 100%; however what they didnt say is there are slopes to all levels so no issue. The complex is spread around but no rush to get anywhere.
Entertainment was not as good as we would like, you had the kiddies disco and 8.15pm then there would be bingo 4 nights - which we enjoyed especially winning several times, and we were looking forward to the karaoke and quiz nights, however they were changed without any notice, which we found frustrating. Then you had the silly games, run around and drink shots, find items of clothing, not our scene. One good thing was that they were very good at time keeping.
Had lovely view right down to Horseshoe beach and along to Atlantico. Sun rise from the sea were great.
All in all we really enjoyed our break. Like I said if steps etc a problem then there are slopes but if in wheelchair would need strong pusher......some of the furniture was under the weather, You do have to pay for TV, we didnt take advantage of this as didnt want to watch on hols - we did pay for wifi = 25 euros for one week - however had money back, very poor connection very slow, so didnt bother with that either
“ Top Tip: Use the excursion to Corralejco from the hotels the 15 euros is cheaper than local bus, and nearly hour quicker as not got to change at Rosario. Local bus stop is down the slope from reception and goes to Rosario shopping centre, and great harbour to sit and watch activities expecially if big liners in. Only 1.8 euros each way.
