Overall very good hotel. Gardens are fantastic, staff excellent, food good, heated pools are really good temperature.
Minor comments.
1. Drinks are expensive.
2. House white wine not very good.
3. Would benefit from being all inclusive as Porta Mogan seems to close at 11pm.
4. Furniture and decor in rooms is a little dated.
5. The so called quiet pool was not quiet due to ball games an inflatables.

The staff at this hotel were superb, always ready to help, friendly and smiling.
Everything about the hotel worked liked clockwork.
The amenities are good, but I would think aimed to an older clientele.
This was my second visit, and I cannot fault the hotel, or staff.

Had a very relaxing holiday. Liked the unusual architecture of the hotel. The staff were very friendly and helpful. Enjoyed the very good spa. The only criticism was the indifferent puddings and the poor quality ice-cream, I would recommend a smaller selection but better quality.

Wonderful stay. Hotel and food extremely good. Would definitely recommend this hotel.
Entertainment could do with more promotion to entice residents to stay in the hotel and not go out - recommend more posters - say in a area on each floor level.
Top Tip: Good supermarket across the road from the hotel and an energetic walk up an unused road not far from the hotel which ends up passed a banana plantation and if you keep walking eventually starts a decent to a small beach (no sand and not much else). For the more enthusiastic walker once you reach the top of the road just a bit further on there is a path to the right which takes you onto a more rugged terrain.
