This is a very noisy hotel. There may be quieter rooms but our room was facing a bar and the music and noise blasted out until after 2am. Then we had a group of very noisy people who came back between 4.30am-5am every night and thought nothing of holding a loud animated conversation outside our room door. Combined with marble flooring and noisy stiletto heels it didn't make for the most restful nights sleep! However, the hotel itself was basic but clean. We had a gorgeous pizza from the hotel restaurant and the staff were friendly. The terrace has a fabulous view across to San Antonio and the area round the pool is really nice. There were more than enough sun loungers to go around but it was the end of the season so I'm not sure if this would be the same in high season. We were a group of 6 friends celebrating my husband's 50th birthday and this hotel was fine for that.
Top Tip: David's restaurant in San Antonio is absolutely fabulous. I really recommend having a meal there. Also the food at Savannah and Cafe Mambo was awesome. All of them are well worth a visit.
