Check in was quick and easy. We were allowed to check in early as the room was ready and we were given a room in a quiet part of the hotel as I had requested. Staff friendly and helpful. The hotel is in an excellent location with the promenade and beach right outside the back gates. It's also close to the town for shopping and eating out, with many cafes and bars close by. The promenade is a good length and takes in the nearby marina and ferry port for trips along the coast, Ibiza town and Formentera.
All inclusive is a good option but the food was a bit of a let down. It often consisted of cheap cuts of pork and beef stew like dishes, there weren't many vegetables either. There was a 'show cooking' area at lunch and evening meal times where you could choose from 5 or 6 types of fish and meat to be cooked there and then, but this wasn't always practical if a queue had formed.
Top Tip: Evening entertainment at the Pines Cafe next door most nights. Mainly catered for the over 50's, with tribute acts such as Buddy Holly, Elvis and others. This may have been due to the time of year and might have 'younger' acts earlier in the season.

Just got back from staying at the Orquidea. The Hotel was very clean bright and welcoming, we had a studio apartment, which was big enough for the two of us, but would be cramped for 3 or more people. The hotel probably had the best location in Santa Eulalia right opposite the beach and a couple of minutes walk to the shops and restaurants. This hotel is excellent value for money, and I would definitely stay there again if i went back to Santa Eulalia, which I probably will.

We were upgraded at no extra cost to a one-bedroom apartment with a pool and side sea view. Apartment very clean with quality bedding, double glazed and air conditioned. Breakfasts very good and filling and kept us going all day! Hotel is really in a perfect position, just opposite a clean sandy beach and easy walking distance of excellent restaurants and bars. A walk along the coast to Es Cana, taking 1 1/2 hrs was a really good way to spend a morning, stopping at the hippy bar on the beach at Cala Pada. We then caught the boat back to Santa Eulalia from Es Cana. Hotel staff very pleasant and helpful. Tip: take your own beach towels as these are not provided. A hairdryer can be hired for 20 euros (refunded) as can a safe key. I would recommend this hotel to family and friends and would probably return some time in the future. Not sure if this would suit young people - i.e. teenagers / 20-30 somethings looking for busy night life as the entertainment finishes at 11.30 and the gates leading to the promenade are locked!
Top Tip: Take a moment to wander away from the beach front and visit the back streets. There are numerous excellent restaurants tucked away where you can get a decent 3 course meal for 12 Euros and sit and people-watch. On the promenade itself, opposite the large fountain with views across the bay, the Kalissol Bar/Restaurant do a happy hour from 4pm with 2-for1 cocktails and tea/coffee and homemade cake for 3.90 Euros.

Great location really close to the town, supermarket, restaraunts, and the beach. The hotel was very clean the beds were comfy including the pullouts.

The minor criticism is the self catering element. Not very well equipment and a bit tight on space. It did however have a full size fridge and microwave.

The hotel description said wifi in the lobby. This made us believe this area would be free access. That's not the case. the lobby has pc's and you can pay 20 euros for a weeks use. We also paid 35 euros for a sea view and 21 Euros for use of the room safe. I don't have a problem with any of it but remember to have 76 euros budgeted for items not included.

The kids club goes upto 12 if your kids are older then it's really a beach/pool holiday as its a bit sparse on teenager activities in the town. That said the pool and beach are excellent. The buses run infrequently but bang on time so cheap days out are possible.
Top Tip: Take the 21 bus north to portInatx and have a day at the beach there. Stunning beach clear waters and a journey through the beautiful northern hills to get there.
