The Beatriz Costa Teguise & Spa is a magnificent 4 stars plus establishment, where guests can enjoy your holiday in peaceful and natural surroundings. The hotel is situated 15km from the airport in the tranquil resort of Costa Teguise, 10 minute from Arrecife and two kilometres and a half from the Golf course, with easy access to the rest of the island. The Hotel boasts tropical gardens and swimming pools covering an area of 20,000 sqm.

Accommodation

The 349 rooms are equipped with air conditioning, satellite TV, ambient music, telephone, safety deposit box, luxurious bathroom (with telephone) and a hairdryer. All the rooms have either a balcony or terrace with a magnificent view of the pool and gardens. Five rooms with wheelchair access are also available.

Food & Beverage

In the buffet restaurant you will find an extensive range of cuisine, with themed buffets and live cooking. The Niagara Saloon Bar offers spectacular shows, live music, dancing, professional shows and nightly performances from the entertainment team. The hotel also offers the Manila Piano Bar, Poolside snack bar (Las Falapas) and the A la Carte restaurant El Jardin, a gastronomic delight!

Sports & Leisure

The Beatriz Costa Teguise & Spa also offers spectacular indoor gardens, with waterfalls and a stream, 2000 m2 of swimming pools, one of which is heated and two Jacuzzis, one outdoors in the area of the swimming pool and one in the Spa center. There is also a gymnasium, sauna (included in the Circuito Hidrotermal Initium, with payment), three tennis courts, two squash courts, one paddle court, petanque, archery and mini golf. For golf lovers there are discounted green fees for residents of the hotel. The entertainments team has prepared a programme of both day and evening activities for your enjoyment. In the shopping gallery you can find a hairdresser and newsagents. There is a regular free bus service provided to the beach and the resort centre.

A very good quality hotel,good food and very good bedroom(we were up graded to a suit on arrival).
The hotel could do with some heating in the dining room and in the bar area especial at this time of the
year(last week in feb)...

Staff ok,food ok, but often warm. Room clean and maids good. Spa staff lovely and excellent massage. Spa very good especially for all inclusive guests.

Problems:

No kettle in room for early morning drinks, real problem especially for a 4* hotel
During the day, it was windy and cold, had to walk a long way for a small cup of coffee as both drink facilities in the hotel were closed
Hotel was probably lovely in its earlier days, but desperately needs an overhaul and good clean
Spa was good, but again loose ladders going into the pool, in the jacuzzi something was digging into my back, when I pulled at it, a 12" square of tiles came off in my hand, which I put on the side. They were still there 5 days later. There were a lot of tiles missing, which in England would have been classed s a health and safety concern

Overall, it was still value for money, we didn't pay a fortune for the holiday and came back home chilled and refreshed

requested a kettle - took over 4 hours to arrive even though we stressed it was needed to make up food for member of our party with medical condition.

Me and my mother visited for 4 days and 4 nights. From the front the hotel looks beautiful, (despite the very dirty windows) and the structure of the inside didn't disappoint our initial impressions. It's fair to say that the weather wasn't amazing but we understand that this isn't a fault within the hotel. However due to the colder weather we had to rely on the hotel to entertain us day and night. We found the free spa facilities second to none and it was a wonderful experience on the two times that we visited the spa. However on booking treatments for 16:30pm Wednesday the previous day we arrived excited only to be told that we weren't on the system. This meant that we had to wait around for another 40 minutes until staff could be called in to see to us, although the treatments were good once we were seen to. We were bored on our last day as the spa and gym were both closed and the hotel offered little extra for us to do. As all inclusive guests we found the food morning, afternoon and evening very good. We tried the Italian and the Chinese which we found equally good although were disappointed to miss these extras on our first two nights simply because nobody told us about them. We found that the wine was very poor, although most other drinks were good. Which leads me onto one of the only real problems we found with the hotel... communication. We may have found out more had we gone to the welcome meeting but it was a 15 minute walk to another hotel and it would have meant us missing out on our experience to visit arrecife. Those at the reception spoke little English which meant that we struggled to communicate and that we were told very little about the facilities that were available to us, we spent a lot of time circling around puzzled. The evening entertainment we found rather poor on our second night, it was miss lanzarote night and involved tasks such as the ladies having drinking competitions and partaking in rather cringy acting scenarios. Nonetheless on our other nights we enjoyed the singers and dancers. We struggled with such late nights as the hotel is very open and we could hear every word very loudly in our room. We would also wake to banging noises and the sound of the lifts early in the morning which we assume is because of thin walls in the hotel. We enjoyed a walk to the shops which took us around 15 minutes to reach, this wasn't too bad but we found the beach quite a distance from the hotel.

A very lovely hotel,friendly staff. Hotel very clean and rooms are spacious. The food was lovely well cooked and a lot of choice, theme nights were good. Pools were very clean and the spa excellent. I would stay again. Booking a day trip through the hotel is well worth it good value for money.
