“ Nice hotel, lovely pool area and well presented rooms. Only trouble is if you have a room over the restaurant and bar areas the evening entertainment is very intrusive if you want an early night.8.8 Excellent

“ The hotel was lovely and very clean. Decor a bit outdated but it still had a nice relaxing atmosphere. It was a short walk into the center of town, maybe 15 min but i enjoyed the walk and a taxi was only 4-5 euros. Great value for money.8.0 Great

The hotel facilities were good. We particularly enjoyed the spa. However the whole hotel is in need of a refurb. Carpets are worn and tiles are missing in the spa. The crazy golf course is very worn which made for an interesting game....
Food was plentiful and there is always a good selection available.
There are plenty of sunbeds by the pool.
Hotel staff were helpful & friendly.
The beach is about 20 mins walk.

The hotel Beatriz and spa is a very good hotel however quiet large. The rooms and general areas are very clean and welcoming, The information on checking in was quite sparse could be better communication. The dining experience is pleasurable with a good variety of choice.
The only down side is the position of the hotel, it is a 15 - 20 min walk to the nearest populated area for bars and restaurants, as it is on a hill if you do not use the courtesy bus and do not want to walk it costs 3.50 in a taxi.
“ Top Tip: In an area near the main strip a little bar called the Motown Bar very welcoming and very pleasant owner even though it is an English Bar

“ It was a nice hotel, very clean, big room, balcony looking over the pool. It was a little to far away from town though, about a 10-15 min walk. Breakfast was great, loads of options, and I liked the pretty vines in the reception area.

“ All hotel personel I interacted with were nice, the hotel is very big, has a lovely feel with its indoor waterfall and trees. That makes the stay visually very pleasant. I would say the main drawback for me was that the hotel entertainment is obviously quite loud in the evening until 23:30 so if you need an early night or peace and quiet, not ideal. When I arrived reception couldn't find my name on the computer and then allocated me an occupied room, due apparently to a computer glitch. When I arrived in my own room there was no bathroom towels available and it took way too long (just under an hour) for them to be brought to my room- so that was annoying as after a day worth of travelling you just want to have a shower! I had to go down to reception to ask them to chase up as my earlier phone call didn't do the trick. I used the spa for a float and it was very nice. Food was varied and good, they had a different main every night as well as staple food ie crudites, chips etc... I would have liked to see more Canarian specialities there instead of Japanese and European food. The hotel isn't far from the beach but it's not on the beach, however the hotel run a shuttle service thrice a day to and from it. If you want to walk it. it's about 15-25mn depending if you walk fast and which beach you want to go to. You can easily access Los Charcos, Las Cucharras and El Jablillo, which at this time of year are not overcrowded and good for water sports. It's on Costa Teguise which is admittedly the touristy area with lots of restaurants and bars, supermarkets and beach shopping. Shops and pharmacies are open late which is very convenient.
“ Top Tip: I definitely recommend "Patio Canario" at the back of Pueblo Marinero, near El Jablillo beach, next to the Tourist Information Office. Excellent tapas, fresh fish and Canarian dishes, lovely service, under the shadow of a 24 year-old ficus tree in a quiet square. Heaven.
