“ Great value, no frills base in the centre of Carmen. Apts clean with maid service each day, pool and bar. Oven and Tv with Eurosport and Sky News. They even assisted us on 4am departure which was good service. Safety deposit box is 15 euro, 5 euro you get back. Will definitely be back. Travel Republic comes up trumps again.8.2 Great

These apartments are ideally placed in the centre of the busy resort, so are more suitable for those wishing to have a more lively atmosphere. On the complex there is a swimming pool surrounded by a sun terrace as well as a separate pool for children and a snack bar.

“ Very central all staff friendly very clean but bathrooms are a bit dated i do feel you get value for money but could be improved with new bathroom facilities .I would recommend quiter rooms at the back of the complex as they are bigger .
“ Top Tip: Try to get aroom in the second part of the complex and recommend Maxis bar across the road brand spirits and friendly staff.

“ Just got back from staying at the Elena apartments and it was ok for the money . we were in room 215 which wasn't the best as we were right next to the night clubs across the road so if you're not into boom boom boom music till all hours maybe ask to stay at one of the apartments which on look the pool. The mattress on the bed was the worst I've ever slept on it was like sleeping on the floor and there was no heating in the room and in February it's can be very cold at night. The place was very clean and we were given clean towels every two days. The apartments are right next to the beach and shops so it's ideal if you like to be in the middle of everything. Bar staff were lovely and will speak away to you. They will even keep your luggage for you the day your leaving if your flight is late afternoon or in the evening.

Near the beach, shops, bus stops and restaurants (less ten 5 minute walk).
Staff very helpful and allowed us to choose another apartment when we were not happy being next to the bar as read in other reviews this area is noisily, which is true.
Apartments were very clean, however you can hear people in other apartments, but we were not there much so not really a problem, but this and the lack of space around pool area would put us off staying in high season. However we plan to return again in low season due to convenience of where complex is and helpfulness of staff.
Complex is definitely 2* and if you book there with this in mind you should not have any complaints.
Thank you Elena Apartments for providing us with an enjoyable stay and look forward to seeing you again in the future.
“ Top Tip: Make the most of bus routes to Playa Blanca and Costa Teguise which stop outside the Atlantica bar complex to compare Puerto Del Carmen- very simple to use.

We are an older couple who have just come back from our stay at the Elena Apartments.
We booked the holiday after reading all the reviews and were not disappointed. Elena apartments has great atmosphere the people who run it are friendly, which rubs off on the people staying there. We made friends with other people staying at the apartments via using the bar which Eddie and Paulo run.. They both have a great sense of humour and we as a couple, spent every night after our evening meal in there. The apartment was clean with a fridge freezer. microwave, 2 ring hob, electric kettle and sufficient pans, crockery and cutlery for self catering. If I go back to Lanzarote I will definitely stay at the Elena Apartments 100 percent.
“ Top Tip: A brilliant place to eat is the American Indian. the meals are good value for money and big portions,It is a 2 minute walk away. There are many restaurants to eat at and we tried quite a few with nice food, but some are pricier than others so look around. We hired a car for 3 days and travelled all of the island. It cost us 66 euros and that included insurance, we used 30 euros of petrol so it was good value for the money We went to Playa Blanca in the south and headed for Papagayo where there are 3 or 4 coves. this is only possible to go to if you hire a car as there are no bus trips. Its in the National Park which costs 3 euros and the road is a track very bumpy but well worth the visit.
